Sai De Silva blasted Carole Radziwill for her ties to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell during filming on the upcoming 16th season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
After Carole, 62, was mentioned in the Epstein files and linked to Ghislaine, 64, who photographed her for her 2005 memoir, What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship, and Love, Sai, 45, felt the need to speak up, grilling her co-star as cameras rolled and leading to a long-running feud.
According to insiders close to production who spoke to TMZ on June 17, Sai and Carole were at odds throughout production on season 16 after Sai made a point to question her involvement with Jeffrey and Ghislaine because she has young children.
The outlet went on to confirm that while the season has wrapped, the cast remains in post-production as they film confessionals about what went down during filming.
Looking back at the footage captured, the sources revealed that producers were happy with Carole’s participation with the women, and felt that she delivered — even though she signed on as a “friend of,” rather than a full-time cast member.
Back in March, Carole, who starred in a full-time role on RHONY during its fifth through 10th seasons, spoke to The New York Times about her relationship with Ghislaine.
“Imagine knowing someone… and then they turn out to be, like, a monster,” she stated.
Meanwhile, on X, after Ghislaine described her in the files as one of her “closest friends,” Carole insisted that she only knew her socially.
“Sure rich men, creepy people… obvs the men who were involved knew…I’m saying the social party friends especially us girls — we didn’t know. When people are doing bad sh*t they hide it well. It’s f*cking creepy,” she wrote.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 16 is expected to premiere sometime in the coming months.
