Bradley Carter said he “never” wants to film with Emmy Sharrett again, and he revealed that his girlfriend, Julia, was interviewed to be on the Southern Hospitality cast ahead of the latest season. The star also hinted at recent “rumors” about Emmy’s fiancé, Will Kulp.

This season, Emmy alleged that Bradley made her feel “unsafe” as he recorded her private conversation and sent threatening messages. Many castmates have called out Emmy for making these allegations against Bradley, an African American man. Recently, Emmy’s texts to Michols Peña (doubling down on her claims) were revealed.

On the Bravo! We’re Black podcast, Bradley said he doesn’t want to film with Emmy next season.

“I don’t want to be in this. I don’t want to share the same air with her. I want her to stay as far away from me as humanly possible,” said Bradley. “If she can move, that’d be even better. But like, that’s up to the network.”

“But I can confidently say that having her around me would impact me, because it’s something that I have to think about in the back of my head instead of just going out and having fun,” he continued. “And honestly, it impact[s] the show because everyone has to now deal with her. And to be honest with you, don’t nobody want to hang out with her. … I don’t feel like it’s fair that we have to share the same air when your behavior is dangerous. … I hope I’d never have to ever speak to her ever again.”

At one point, Bradley shared that Julia was interviewed to potentially be in the cast ahead of the latest season.

“I haven’t even told anybody this, but Julia actually, she did the full interview process, she did the whole thing,” he said, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “The network decided to go a different direction, which is what it is, that’s fine. … But going into season five, if we lose a couple of cast members, hopefully… we’ll be able to pick Julia up.”

Later on, Bradley shared that he didn’t know about everything Emmy was doing until he watched the season.

“I had no idea she went to the front desk and tried to call the cops,” he said. “I had no idea she had called other people and told a different story, that she was telling Lucia that he told me to sleep with one eye open, which what Black person is saying, you need to sleep with one eye open? Is this the 1930s? I’m sorry. What are we talking about here? And adding, I’m stalking her, and all these other details are coming out in real time.”

He also had “no idea” about the text messages she sent to Michols.

“I didn’t even get a chance to address those [at the reunion],” he added. “Honestly, I’m happy I didn’t see it because I would have came with more anger. And I don’t want to give any of that energy towards her because then she’s gonna make it seem like that’s everything she’s saying about me is true. … [She’s] known for weaponizing tears for her own benefit. … You’re willing to twist and paint a different narrative in order to benefit yourself instead of just telling the truth and apologizing.”

Bradley said he gave Emmy the chance to apologize and move on at the beginning of the season, but she “kept bringing it up” and “changing the story.”

The star also shared that he still hears “all kinds of rumors” about her fiancé Will.

“As of two and a half weeks ago, I also heard this rumor, which is not really a rumor,” he said. “I heard this from the great people of Charleston. He was out here last weekend by himself, drunk as hell, making a fool of himself at multiple bars. … S**t [hasn’t] changed.”
