Janet Caperna and her husband, Jason Caperna, set the record straight about their marriage after she revealed she was bisexual and named Michelle Saniei her “dream girl” on Wednesday’s episode of The Valley.
Following a discussion about Janet’s attraction to other women, including Michelle, 37, Janet and Jason, 43, confirmed whether they had an open marriage as Michelle weighed in on being Janet’s “dream girl” and joked that they’d hook up on their “next trip.”
“I think I said, like, ‘Jason wouldn’t care if I was with a girl.’ [But] I think he would care if I was with anybody,” Janet clarified on the June 17 episode of The Valley: After Show. “Let’s be clear: There’s no, like, rule in place that I’m allowed to, like, be with women. I think it was more like, ‘Oh, if, like, you and Michelle had too many margaritas and, like, made out for a second in Mexico, [that would be fine].'”
Jason also made it clear that rumors of an open marriage were “definitely not true.”
“Here’s the thing: When we were dating, I said something like that. But it’s like, okay, if Janet were to hook up with a guy, that’s pretty much, like, probably gonna go toward, eventually, the demise of our relationship. If she’s like, ‘Oh, me and [Lala Kent] made out,’ you know, that’s fine,” he explained.
As for how he’d respond to Janet going on a date with a woman, Jason wouldn’t be on board.
“I’d be like, ‘No, you’re not going on dates with this woman.’ Yeah, because, like, I could just as easily lose her to a woman as to a man,” he noted.
After Michelle suggested that Janet “just [wanted] to make out with [her],” Jason weighed in on the possibility of a threesome.
“Even though it sounds like it would be awesome for, like, that time, I feel like that could complicate things too,” he reasoned. “We have a good thing going, so I don’t want to rock the boat.”
Then, Jason asked, “Has Michelle said that she is interested in this? Is that why you’re asking me?” Michelle then joked to Janet, “Next trip.”
