Amanda Batula has insisted that Kyle Cooke was unfaithful, as she accused him of sleeping with someone else while they were together.
The topic came up on last night’s episode of In The City.
On the show, we saw Kyle visit Amanda’s new apartment, as she had moved out of the place they shared together.
While Kyle admitted he “acted out” during the last night in their shared home, Amanda fired back that he had been acting out for 10 years.
“Were you acting out when you cheated on me and had sex with someone else?” she shockingly asked. “Was that acting out?”
Kyle noted he was “almost 10 years younger and scared to commit,” but Amanda did not relent.
“Yeah, and nothing’s changed. … That’s what I have a problem with,” she said.
She opened up more on his alleged indiscretion in a confessional, stating, “We had just gotten married. He went out and was drunk, and I get a DM with, like, a video being like, ‘I saw Kyle making out with someone last night.’ And then there was a time before that where, like, he was at this party with a bunch of people, and I was getting DMs from the girl herself saying Kyle was, like, very handsy with her and, like, asking if he could kiss her.”
Amanda also copped to never having told anyone about the incident due to her feeling “embarrassed” by it.
Kyle then said he felt like he’d “never live that down” with Amanda, as she was still bringing up something from 10 years ago.
“If you literally hold everything over my head…” he started to say, but Amanda quickly interjected.
“It’s hard to put the past behind us when you keep doing the same sh*t,” she stated.
While Kyle noted he was trying to enjoy “one of the most fun weekends in New York City” together while “focusing on” their relationship,” Amanda clearly didn’t see it that way.
“I was moving the next day, Kyle,” she said. “That’s overwhelming and emotional for me. Sorry, I wasn’t at the marathon, drinking all day. I had friends asking to come over and help me pack. My mom was like, ‘Wish I could be there.’ You? Out from 9 a.m. to 2:00 in the morning.”
“I know what you need from me; I know what you want different from me. My fear is that you’re not capable [of] doing what I need from you,” she added.
Earlier in the episode, Kyle explained what happened during Amanda’s last night in their apartment.
“Her last night in our home being a night that I just stayed out and kind of disrespected our marriage, was kind of like a knee-jerk reaction to just not knowing how to process this and, quite frankly, be around it,” he stated.
As fans know, their marriage ended up not working out, and they separated earlier this year.
