While many fans were excited that Ladies of London was rebooted and aired earlier this year, a new report claims Bravo has put the show on pause after just one season.
The show, which was rebranded Ladies of London: The New Reign, premiered in March on Bravo.
According to Variety, the show was officially put on pause by the network. While a show being paused by Bravo doesn’t mean it’s gone forever, such as The Real Housewives of Miami, it definitely won’t be back for some time.
Fans of the show noticed that it was missing from Bravo’s list of renewed shows at the NBC Upfront event in May, which led to speculation that it may not be returning.
The original iteration of the show ran from 2014 to 2017, and this version only lasted this year.
While Bravo content creators were quite fond of the show, it unfortunately did not seem to be a hit with a wider audience.
Before Variety’s report, Reality Tea broke the news, as they spoke to an insider who stated the show was “on pause.”
“Ladies of London is not coming back,” the source dished. “[It] has been ‘paused,’ which is a nice way of saying canceled.”
While Ladies of London may be gone from the network, the insider offered a glimmer of hope for fans who still want to see women from over the pond.
“[The] Real Housewives of London is going to Bravo,” they added.
The Real Housewives of London was an original Hayu series, and as of this morning, it’s being reported that it is due to premiere on Bravo on July 29.
Aside from its principal cast, Bravo fans will surely recognize two faces on the screen, as Caroline Stanbury and Dorinda Medley made cameos on the first season.
