Mia Thornton was accused of photoshopping her head onto the body of model Sophie O’Neill in a bizarre photo she later deleted, as Sophie called her out. The Real Housewives of Potomac star later doubled down by sharing another now-deleted image.
In April of last year, Mia announced her exit from RHOP. She explained that her family decided to move to Atlanta, as she suggested this was the reason she left the show. The mother of two was on RHOP for four seasons.
In a now-deleted post shared by @theneighborhoodtalk on Instagram, Mia posed in a white dress while holding a small purse. Other than Mia’s face, the image seemed identical to one posted by Sophie, including the placement of their hands and purse, as well as the same background.
Sophie clapped back by sharing Mia’s now-deleted photo. She wrote over it, “@mrsmiathornton – Super imposing yourself onto my picture. The world is a very scary place these days – this is just sad.”
She also asked Mia, “Please can you remove the picture of ME with your head on it. Thanks.”

At some point, Mia doubled down by sharing a new photo in a now-deleted post on Instagram. In the new image, Mia had the same dress and purse, but she was in a different location (the booth of a restaurant).
“Never needed clout,” wrote Mia in the caption. “My name carries enough weight on its own.”
In the comments, fans reacted to the new photo.
“Not you asked AI to make you sit down 😂,” wrote one user.
“So you asked chat GPT to make you sit down in a restaurant setting ok girl,” said another. “Go away from us with this.”
“You can ask AI to make the person sit down lol,” wrote a different fan. “You would need a screen recorded video with a series of all pics in this outfit and location timestamped.”
“But sis Ai 🤖 forgot to keep the same necklaces in this new picture,” said a fourth. “You made it worse.”
“Mia… at this point you just need to post a video babygirl,” wrote a fifth.
