Kathy Wakile underwent a series of plastic surgery procedures earlier this week. And, on Instagram, she chronicled her journey with her fans and followers with a couple of videos.

Giving her social media audience a look at her results a “few hours post op” and the following day, the 60-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey alum was seen in bandages as she detailed what she had done.

“Hi friends, I’m a few hours post-op and back home, comfortable, resting, and not in any pain. I’m a little sleepy, as expected, and will be taking it easy for the next few days,” Kathy shared in the caption of a June 24 clip. “Today I had a neck and lower facelift, along with a brow lift and lower blepharoplasty. As I mentioned before, this isn’t about changing the face I’ve known and loved for 60 years. It’s simply about restoring and refreshing what time has naturally changed.”

“I’ve chosen to share this journey openly because I know so many people are curious about the process and may be considering something similar themselves. I’ll continue to keep you updated along the way,” she continued, thanking “[her] surgeon, [Dr. T.Y. Steven Ip, MD, and Melissa Locke] for taking such wonderful care of [her].”

Meanwhile, in the video, she added, “I’m home a few hours post op and feeling no pain and everything went well, and I’m excited. I haven’t taken any pain meds because I don’t have any pain. You can see I’m speaking just fine, and I feel great, just taking it easy today. I had something to eat. A little swelling happening. I still have markings from the doctor. I’m excited to see the results.”

Kathy also revealed that she had drains that would be removed the next day.

“Thanks for following along, and I’ll keep you posted,” she stated.

In a second video shared on June 25, Kathy detailed “day one” post op.

“If you’re anything like me, you probably wouldn’t expect to feel—or even look—this good the day after surgery. [But] I’m happy to report that I’m not in any pain, and I’ve had very minimal bruising and swelling. I’ve been able to move around comfortably, but I’m also making a conscious effort to slow down, listen to my body, and rest as much as possible,” she explained. “If I’m being honest, the resting part is the hardest for me. I’m so used to always doing something, but this time I’m reminding myself that healing is part of the process, and giving my body the time it needs is the best thing I can do.”

She also addressed fans in a video titled, “Day one … Bandages off … Drain removed … No pain … Minimal bruising and swelling.”

“So, it’s day one after my surgery. I wanted to show you the bandages are off already. This is just a light band to remind me not to move my neck. So what I had done was a neck lift, a lower face lift, and a little tuck on my eye, a lower bleph,” she revealed. “You can’t see the stitches right now because they’re back behind my ear, but you can see I have visible lines of the markings still from where Doctor Ip marked up my face.”

“I haven’t washed my face. I haven’t washed my hair. But later, I get to wash my hair,” she added.
