The drama surrounding The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul has continued to pile up.
In a new report, it’s been revealed that she is going to be required to pass a drug and alcohol test in order to regain solo parenting rights.
According to TMZ, who obtained court documents, a judge has ordered a drug and alcohol test for Taylor. If her results are clean, she can have unsupervised parenting time with the kids she shares with Tate Paul.
Tate had initially requested a temporary restraining order against Taylor, which was denied. He had also asked for sole custody of their kids.
Tate asked the court to reconsider and submitted text messages that he stated raised concerns about Taylor’s recent stay in a treatment center and her ability to parent their children safely.
Although many of his claims were rejected by the judge for lack of evidence, Taylor was ordered to give her records from treatment if the Department of Children and Family Services requested them.
If her drug and alcohol tests come back not clean, supervised visits will continue, and Tate’s request for a temporary restraining order will be heard by the court.
Taylor has also been having issues with her ex, Dakota Mortensen, with whom she also shares a child.
It was also recently reported by TMZ that Tate and Dakota are using the same lawyers in their custody battles with Taylor.
Specifically, the outlet revealed Dakota retained Steven Russell and Chad Shattuck, whose services Tate has used for a long time.
Sources claimed Dakota is the “mastermind” behind the attacks against Taylor, and the new ones are coming due to the recent news that her season of The Bachelorette could finally see the light of day this month.
As fans will recall, it was initially canceled due to domestic violence accusations and an explosive video that showed Taylor nearly hitting her daughter with a chair.
