Carl Radke revealed that he and Amanda Batula texted after the Summer House reunion. The star also reacted to Kyle Cooke’s romances with Next Gen NYC‘s Ava Dash and Southern Charm‘s Salley Carson, and he revealed what advice Carl gave to him.
Back in March, Kyle’s estranged wife, Amanda, announced her controversial relationship with Kyle’s friend and co-star, West Wilson. Both of them exited the show amid the public backlash.
Recently, Kyle admitted to making out with Salley the day before the season 10 premiere party for Summer House in February. He later claimed that he and Salley slept together. Back in June, a source told Page Six that Kyle was seen kissing Ava in the Hamptons.
“After the reunion, me and Amanda texted,” said Carl in an interview with E! News. “[I] haven’t really touched base with her. … I mean, I wish her all the best. I always will care for her, but I think she’s got some things to work on and spend some time on, whether that’s privately or publicly, whatever works best for her.
“My advice would be maybe spend some time privately with your close family and your closest friends who really know who you are, and get back to that version of Amanda that I thought I knew,” he said. “Now West, I wish him all the best, but I don’t really have much to say about him.”
At one point, Carl addressed Kyle’s flings with Ava and Salley.
“Listen, Kyle’s having a lot of fun,” said Carl in an interview for Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea. “I feel like the first person that you get with after your separation is usually fun and light. It seems like he’s just having a good time.”
He said Ava and Salley are “wonderful” and “beautiful,” but he’s encouraged Kyle to “have a crazy, wild, single summer” and “have fun.”
“Maybe after the summer ends, he’ll be ready for maybe a dating relationship,” said Carl. “When you get out of a 10-year relationship, I think it takes some time to get back to ready for maybe that level of another level of a committed relationship. So for Kyle, I’m like, ‘Dude, have fun, let loose, see what’s out there.’”
