Salley Carson explained her issue with Amanda Batula during an appearance on Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp‘s shared podcast on Thursday.
As she continues to be linked to Kyle Cooke, 43, following his and Amanda’s separation in January, the 31-year-old Southern Charm star addressed her drama with Amanda, 34, while also suspecting that Amanda’s controversial relationship with West Wilson, 31, began much sooner than they have alleged.
“My issue with Amanda is like, so I like, I kissed Kyle in New York, and Amanda asked him about it, and this is like after they’re separated, whatever, and then she found out and she kind of was like, ‘Be careful, like, she’s got a reputation,’” Salley revealed on the July 16 episode of In the Twot Seat, via a snippet shared by the Bravo Investigator on Instagram. “And when she’s saying that about me, she’s already f***ing West. I’m like, projection.”
After Salley clarified that her “reputation” was “just how [she] was being perceived on the show … and [her] edit,” Tamra, 58, gave a nod to how Amanda was being perceived amid her relationship with West, the former friend of Kyle and ex-flame of Amanda’s friend, Ciara Miller, 30.
“Let’s talk about how she’s being perceived on the show right now. Like, you can’t throw that at people,” Tamra stated.
“That’s what I’m saying,” Salley agreed. “You of all people should understand what reality TV is like. And like, you don’t really judge someone for their edit necessarily, unless you, like, really know them, and they deserved it. But the audacity that she had to say that about me when she knew what she was doing behind closed doors.”
After Tamra wondered when Amanda and West’s relationship truly began, Salley admitted to feeling that footage from Summer House season 10 seemed to hint that their romance started last year.
“I mean, from the way that the show is edited right now, it looks like they were together last summer,” she said, adding that they 1,000 percent had chemistry amid production.
Following Amanda and Kyle’s split in January, and after Amanda went public with West in March, Salley and Kyle were said to be hooking up, although he’s also been linked to Next Gen NYC‘s Ava Dash, 26.
Southern Charm season 12 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in the coming months.
