On this episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki is dead set on getting the tres amigas back together. Jenn checks in with her son and realizes the repercussions of her divorce have truly affected him as Heather questions friendships within the group.
Tamra’s daughter, Sophia, is finally moving out and has now become much more confident. Tamra shares that she has been raising kids for 40 years and now that her last one is heading out, she wants to nurture her marriage with Eddie.
Emily explains that she has lost 40 pounds over the last 9 months, which is a huge hurdle considering she gained so much weight last year worrying about her son, Luke. Emily has been taking better care of herself and so Shannon and Emily get stretched out (or beat up) by the infamous Dr. Tim, the chiropractor.
Emily states that she thought she got to some sort of resolution with Tamra, until Tamra said “now I can tell iHeart that” Emily can go to events. Talk about a power move.
Whilst moving her daughter into her new place, Tamra shares that Vicki really wants the tres amigas back in action. Vicki is doing her best to act as mediator, and so she invites Shannon to a lunch with Tamra. Shannon is not sure how to move forward with Tamra, yet again, but Tamra feels like Shannon just wants her to be the villain in her story.
Jenn and her fiance Ryan chat about their blended families, but Jenn feels like things with her son, Greyson, have been different lately. Ryan feels like her son simply wants a better relationship with his dad, but Jenn explains that she is trying to compensate for all that they have lost. Because Jenn’s husband is not involved, it does put a strain on their relationship.
Heather chats with Emily about her birthday party and shares that she is “bummed” with Jenn. Heather does not feel like Jenn is malicious, but her constant changing of tone and context causes Heather to question their friendship. Emily goes on to share that Carmella gave her a gold Dior clutch, but wonders if Carmella’s intent was to show the rest of the women she is a baller with money. “Can a friendship be bought with a designer bag?” Yep…but there was also a vibrator in the giftbag as well. Weird.
Vicki meets with Gina and Jenn for some brunch. Gina explains that she was not even thinking about a prenup and she asks Vicki’s financial advice on what she should do. Vicki states that she will never co-mingle money with her boyfriend AND that he has said he has a ring for her.
No one can understand why Vicki is in the middle of Shannon and Tamra, but alas, she is ready to try and lead the charge to get the group back together. Vicki wants Tamra to stop attacking Shannon and Vicki admits that when Tamra gets in that zone, it makes her anxious and scared.
Carmella and her daughters chat about the vibrators in the Amazon cart. Carmella claims the vibrator to Emily was merely a gag gift, but it DID fit inside the Dior bag. Being in Play Boy was a wake-up call for Carmella’s self-awareness and so now she is ultra-cautious when it comes to her kids.
Emily is in the midst of helping Jenn clean out her closet. As they do this, they chat about the kids. Jenn seems very concerned about her son Greyson, considering she feels as though he is withdrawing from things. Emily understands this because she admits to losing a connection with Annabelle due to the focus being all on her son, Luke.
Tamra pays a visit to Teddi’s house because Teddi has now turned a corner and is now doing better. Tamra explains that Teddi is one strong woman, but even though she is struggling with her own battle, she checks in on Tamra and her issues. Tamra becomes emotional explaining that she feels as though the women in the group just don’t care about her. Tamra realizes that at the end of the day, life is short and the fighting needs to end.
Gina and Travis head out for date night. Gina fills Travis in on Carmella, the developer with a real estate license. Gina admits that she is not completely clear on what Carmella does, but she is interested. Regarding a prenup, Gina simply wants to protect herself and her kids. She also brings up the topic of changing her last name. Gina would prefer to keep her last name so she can stay connected with her children.
Jenn checks in with Greyson, who admits that things have been hard lately. He becomes emotional about the situation with his parents because it’s still impacting everything he does every day. Greyson does not see his dad and Jenn understands that the decision SHE made has truly affected him. Greyson goes on to share that people are being unkind to him and Jenn cries that she is doing the best that she can. If only things were easier…
The Quiet Woman is not always the most quiet place, but Vicki is using this restaurant as the scene of the (hopeful) reconciliation for Shannon and Tamra. Tamra tries out how she plans on fixing things with Shannon, but she refuses to apologize to Shannon about anything.
Once Shannon arrives, things are…awkward. The silence is deafening because neither Tamra nor Shannon want to make the first move. Tamra eventually explains that she would like to move forward with Shannon, but Shannon points out that Tamra called her a drunk who will never get a man.
Tamra DOES apologize for saying that, but…points out that Shannon gets on lives claiming it was a “gift” to film with her. Shannon tries to brush things under the rug nowadays and feels like Tamra is being very hypocritical. She points out that Tamra said that nasty thing to Emily about iHeart and that it was NOT a joke. Tamra is frustrated because “you guys” hold onto every little thing. Vicki calls her friends family and reminds Shannon that Tamra has a spit fire personality. Nothing can be THAT bad that they can’t move on.
After much ado, Tamra “sincerely” apologizes and wishes to simply be around Shannon in a happy place. Shannon is willing to move forward and laugh…and just like that, the tres amigas are reunited and it feels so gooooood! Thank you, Quiet Woman!
