As fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta know, star Angela Oakley got into it with her neighbor, Ashley Byrom, on the show.
Ashley took Angela, 45, to task for supposedly “fishing” and spreading made-up fodder about Shamea Morton, 44, and Ashley’s husband, George Byrom, allegedly having an affair.
Angela denied the allegations, insisted she hired a private investigator, and claimed she was “vindicated,” which led Ashley to take to her Instagram Story to call her out.
”Girl… you still ain’t vindicated,” she wrote. “Be careful joking around Angela chile… it’s a worn testimony at this point.”
”I see the landscaping and point crew been busy though,” she added.
Ashley also shared a screenshot of Ring doorbell camera footage, writing, “Hearing vindicated when I have Ring footage of her coming to my house on Halloween night before filming to see how I’d respond to this foolishness. Them edits make y’all forget about real life.”
This isn’t the first time Ashley has gone at Angela on her Instagram Story.
“Imagine calling me to fish for information about another woman, getting absolutely nothing but a neutral response… then turning around and making MY husband the centerpiece of a story you created in your own head,” she wrote earlier this month regarding the incident. “Let’s be serious. Out of everything in this world, why would I ever give someone permission to put my husband in the middle of an allegation like that? That doesn’t even make sense.”
“I’m just glad Shamea brought it to light before she had the chance to fully run with that made-up narrative,” she added.
Ashley shared a photo of herself, George, and Angela’s husband, Charles Oakley, on the red carpet for an event sponsored by George’s business, Crash to Cash, in another post.
“We’ve donated to charities all over Atlanta,” she wrote above the picture. “This wasn’t unique.”
Angela responded to that post with her own message.
“Nope. Y’all taught me a valuable lesson. We know clout chasers when we see them now,” she shared on Instagram. “Won’t get me again. Truth doesn’t need my help. It’ll reveal itself soon enough. P.S. I saw this man yesterday… and he told me he loves all this.”
“Funny how me hiring a private investigator and asking questions somehow turned into a manufactured storyline for somebody chasing a moment,” she added. “Y’all don’t have to like me, but one thing I’m not is a dayum fool. And by the way… if you don’t want your personal injury attorney all in the blogs, videos, and Instagram chasing clout… maybe choose @DELOSPR96 … I didn’t bring them into the conversation!!!”
