Viewers saw Kenya display some rude behavior in Houston where she and some of her castmates headed to help out with the Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts. First Kenya was very dismissive of Shamea Morton who came to help her with her Habitat for Humanity event, and then she stormed out of the restaurant while dining with the other ladies, insulted her best friend Cynthia Bailey, and rolled up her car window in Cynthia’s face when she tried to reason with her.
Oh yeah, there was also the flipping off the Bravo cameras and cursing out her castmates off camera. So is Kenya apologizing for her behavior today? No! In a new post by Kenya, she praises her
former best friend Cynthia and acknowledges she was rude to Shamea BUT makes no apologies. She goes on to state she is not making excuses for her behavior… and then goes on to do just that when she blames editing and producers for bringing out the worst in her.
She also appears to be accusing the show’s producers on trying to make her look bad in an attempt to rehabilitate Porsha Williams’ image. Yikes.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mid-season 10 trailer is officially here and it proves the Atlanta ladies are just getting started when it comes to their drama filled season!
For starters, newbie and America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille finally makes her appearance this season as a friend of the housewives, and it doesn’t take long for Eva to start getting into it with the cast, most notably Shamea Morton who proceeds to ask her about her rumored romance with a certain rapper.
We also see a preview of the Roach-Gate controversy involving Nene Leakes, Kim Zolciak, and Kim’s daughter Brielle Biermann. But Nene is not the only one Kim has issues with as she gets into an argument with Kandi Burruss as well.
Porsha Williams is shown having a breakdown, and getting into a fight with Marlo Hampton during the cast trip to Spain, Sheree Whitfield’s prison beau Tyrone Gilliams appears to make a threat to expose Nene, Eva accuses Cynthia Bailey’s man Will Jones of being cray cray, and the biggest shocker of all is what appears to be a surprise appearance by Kenya Moore’s camera shy husband Marc Daly!
Sounds like the best is yet to come when it comes to the current season of RHOA. You can see the RHOA mid-season trailer below – Read more
Happy New Year, Real Housewives of Atlanta fans! It’s been three weeks since we last saw our favorite Georgia peaches, and while they’re always juicy, in last night’s episode, they were pretty sweet, as well.
When we last saw the ladies, there were some hard feelings among some, but they all chose to put the pettiness aside for a good cause.
Carrying out Kenya’s vision, the ladies filmed a PSA to raise awareness for domestic violence. Sadly, each of the ladies have been touched by domestic violence, either as victims or witnesses, and they bravely shared some stirring stories. Read more
So, let’s just say the peaches of Atlanta aren’t off to the juiciest of starts. That’s my diplomatic way of saying that the second episode of the 10th season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta was a little dull. The main issue was that far too much time and attention was given to Shamea. Oh, I’m sorry. Shamea who, you ask? She’s Porsha’s friend, who was added on last season to bring…well, I’m not sure what she was meant to bring to the show. Suffice it to say, it wasn’t enough.
Anyway, much of tonight’s episode was spent at her wedding shower. Porsha, Kandi, and Sheree came to support their friend, and celebrate her upcoming nuptials. Porsha announced that she wouldn’t be attending the actual ceremony because it’s in Kenya (the country, not the Housewife), and she claims to “have a condition” called Vasovagal Syncope (low blood pressure) that would make sitting in coach (gasp!) with “her legs down” for such a long period of time, difficult. Besides, as Kandi’s assistant and friend Carmon quipped (rather loudly, considering they were at the same table), Porsha is “used to having her legs up”. Kandi thoroughly enjoyed this, of course, since she and Porsha are still on rather icy terms after the latter accused the former of planning to drug and rape her last season.
After a few
vulgar lighthearted party games, including something called “Weiner in the Hole” that you can figure out the particulars of for yourselves, as I’d like to forget I ever saw it, Shamea and Porsha took their argument outside, where they loudly accused each other of a host of disloyalties and breaches of friend code, which only ended when Porsha’s sister Lauren insisted she needed to get home to her baby, and Shamea flounced off. Again, I know…Shamea who? But apparently she’ll be around for at least a little while. Read more
