Salley Carson revealed that Steven McBee Jr. got hair plugs on her and Lala Kent‘s new podcast.
Following a visit to Missouri to spend time with the 33-year-old cast member of The McBee Dynasty, Salley, 31, and Lala, 35, spoke of Steven’s habit of wearing hats as Salley admitted that her recent trip to the Midwest wasn’t enjoyable and led to her needing to be rescued by her Southern Charm co-star, Craig Conover, 37.
“I’m pretty clocked in when it comes to hat wearers. Like, if I go to your Instagram and you always have a hat on, I’m like, ‘Why? Why do you have a hat on all the time?’” Lala wondered on Sex Unlocked as Salley mentioned Steven.
“He always has a hat on, and my mom’s like, ‘He’s so cute.’ Did he get hair plugs?” Lala continued.
“My mom said the same thing,” Salley replied. “And that’s why I went to go and see him.”
“And he did have the plugs already?” Lala asked.
“No,” Salley replied. “He was prepping to get them.”
After their discussion about Steven and his hats and hair, Salley opened up about the time she spent with Steven after flying out to his home state to meet him for the first time.
“Craig helped me escape … Like, I flew out to see him. First time I’d done it. I was terrified,” she recalled. “I wanted to leave so bad, and Craig happened to be there … in Missouri … I was like, ‘Craig, I just want to go home.’ He rescued me. He’s like, ‘Let’s get you the f*ck out of here.’”
Then, after confirming that the visit was “not that long ago,” Salley said that despite their complicated past, which saw Craig turning down the idea of a romance and lashing out against her amid season 11, Craig is a good friend.
“Craig’s a great one in my life,” she gushed.

Salley’s revelations about Steven come just one week after he discussed their past fling.
“I think the world of Salley,” he confirmed on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea. “We had a lot of fun together in the few weeks that we were hanging out. She actually came up to the farm … I had a blast with her, and she was great with my family, too.”
Steven then said that he and Salley were “very, very different people in the way that [they] live [their] lives.”
“It doesn’t make one right or the other. It’s just we are very different people,” he added.
Following her failed romance with Steven, Salley has been linked to Summer House‘s Kyle Cooke, 43, and she recently suggested that she was “anxiously attached” and in love.
