Season one of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island may have wrapped, but one storyline that doesn’t show any sign of dying is star Rulla Pontarelli‘s husband Brian Pontarelli‘s alleged affair with mistress Beth Walker.
While it’s unclear if the storyline will be discussed in the currently taping second season of the show, Beth is making sure it’s still a topic of conversation with her latest post.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Beth shared a photo of her and a shirtless Brian, and both are beaming.
“Funny,” she began. “For the ‘darkest time’ of your life, you sure smiled a lot.”
Beth wasn’t done yet as she shared two more photos with Brian, writing, “My camera roll remembers your ‘darkest time’ a bit differently.”
She later added, “Amazing how your ‘deepest, darkest time’ somehow produced 2 1/2 years of photos like this.”
As Reality Blurb reported last month, Rulla, 46, took a dig at Beth with a post on her Instagram in which she was seen as a clown. Rulla shaded Beth as an “ugly side chick” and accused her of “playing the victim.”
“An ugly side chick prepping for her Netflix documentary on how she knew he had a beautiful wife and children but didn’t care because they ‘had such a connection and it was meant to be,’” Rulla captioned the video she shared on July 16.
“Some people move on,” she captioned the post. “Others build an entire illusion out of old screenshots and recycled memories. The plot never changes… but you’re auditioning for the role of the victim. The funniest part? The audience always figures out who the real clown is.”
Rulla also added hashtags of #rhori, #homewrecker, #sidechick, #clownshow, and #playingthevictim.
“Let’s not try and police this ladies feelings about it.. she’s having a sense of humour about it.. remember.. she’s didn’t betray anyone in this situation,” a person wrote to Rulla in the comments section on her post.
This prompted her to respond, writing, “Thank YOU! They don’t understand. It’s hurtful and shameful all at the same time.”
Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein also piped in, writing, “I need to copy.”
“Lisa my darling, please do, beautiful,” Rulla answered..
In May, it was revealed that Beth sued Brian after he took legal action against her for allegedly breaching a contract.
