Calah Jackson is fighting back after Kristi McBee accused her and Allie Eklund of going on a smear campaign against her son, Steven McBee Jr., as she announced her exit from the public eye at the end of last month.
Following the sharing of a comment from Kristi on TikTok, which seemed to suggest that she was not only leaving The McBee Dynasty, but also that the series would be ending after three seasons, Calah, 33, denied that she was the one who was refusing to move on, as Kristi claimed.
“Funny how I’m supposedly the one who ‘can’t move on’ yet my name keeps getting brought up on every interview, podcast, episode the family has done…” Calah wrote in a comment shared to a post from All About the Real Housewives on Instagram about Kristi’s statement.
Then, after a fan wrote, “Tell em!! The [gaslighting] is unreal.. must’ve been where Steven got it from,” Calah added, “I’ve also declined multiple interviews with major outlets to tell my story, [you’re welcome].”
As McBee Dynasty fans may have seen, Kristi made her accusations against Calah and Allie, 29, in a TikTok comment after posting a family photo. And, in addition to targeting Calah and Allie’s claims against Steven, she also targeted the women for going after Cole McBee‘s wife, Kacie Adkison, 27, who is currently expecting her second child.
“My family and I truly appreciate all of the love and support from the ones that have been loyal, kind and have shown grace. Between the relentless smear campaign on Steven from the two [exes], who can’t seem to move on, and then them going after my daughter-in-law who’s [eight] months pregnant, on top of the cruelty of a lot of the Bravo audience, I’ve had enough,” Kristi wrote. “Are they going to go after my granddaughters next? That’s when my gloves would come off. I never needed this or wanted this and it’s time for my family to enjoy our lives and be out of the public eye.”
“A & C need to find another ride to hop on cause this one is over! But again much love to our supporters!” she added.
Kristi’s statement against Calah and Allie came weeks after the ladies spoke of the alleged mistreatment they endured amid their past romances with Steven, with Calah hinting that she was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from the time they spent together.
In addition to Kristi hinting at the potential end of their family’s show, Steven suggested that season three would be the last on Facebook.
“My entire family and I are over the hypocrisy and internet bullying of this fan base. This will be our last go-round,” he wrote in July.
