Stassi Schroeder believes she and her daughter, five- year-old Hartford, experienced past lives together.
While appearing on a podcast earlier this week, the 38-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum, who is currently starring on a new series, House of Stassi, admitted to ghosting Katie Maloney, 40, shared her regrets, and explained why she felt that she and Hartford were connected in that way.
“My daughter, we’ve been through a lot of past lives together, and I’m convinced that I’ve, like, sent her to an execution or I’ve like done horrible things to her,” Stassi admitted on the August 4 episode of Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe.
According to Stassi, she has believed that she and Hartford knew each other from their past lives since she was born.
“When I had Hartford, she came out side-eyeing me, like, I felt the energy of someone who’s just like, ‘Not you again,’” she shared. “When she was a baby, when she was a toddler, she always preferred [my husband, Beau Clark]. She always, I could feel her like, her energy resisting me, and like, I could see her wheels turning, like her thinking about, like, ‘Why is she being like this?’ I just feel it.”
Although Stassi acknowledged that her relationship with Hartford has been getting better “the older she gets,” she also recalled a recent incident in which Hartford told her she didn’t like her.
“I got her out of the bath a few months ago, and she was like, ‘I feel sad,’ and I was like, ‘Why?’ And she was like, ‘I love you so much, but sometimes my brain doesn’t like you,’” Stassi revealed. “And I could see her feel — she felt bad about it. And I was like, ‘That’s okay … sometimes you feel things that you can’t understand.’ I was like, ‘Don’t feel bad about it. I love you. It’s your past life, b*tch.’”
“It was crazy,” she added.

During another segment of Stassi’s interview with Kaitlyn, she spoke of her “slow” falling out with Katie.
“We didn’t have this big fight. It was like I kind of ghosted. I just removed myself slowly,” she admitted.
That said, Stassi confirmed that she and Katie remained supportive of one another and their business endeavors, including Katie’s sandwich shop, Something About Her, even when their friendship was in a rocky place.
“We’ve always like, still really cared about each other; we just couldn’t — I was bitter about things. I’m sure she was bitter about things. And I think we finally got to a place right before filming started, where it’s like, ‘Let’s hash this out. Let’s talk about it,’” she explained.
Looking back at their strained moments, Stassi said she had started to feel “drained” by their time with Katie.
“We got to a place where we would hang out, and I felt like a part of me just left. And I felt drained, and I felt sad, and she was still on Vanderpump Rules. So I think that made it really hard. I wasn’t. She was. That was her whole life still, and my life was so different that I just didn’t like how I felt every time I was around her,” she shared.
As for her regrets, Stassi mentioned that she shouldn’t have ghosted her friend.
“I do wish I had handled things differently with her. I wish that I had given her a conversation. She deserved that. She was owed that, and I’m sorry she had to wait years for that,” she said.
Although Stassi and Katie went through hard times after Stassi’s exit from Pump Rules, they are in a much better place today.
“She’s really changed. She’s really happy, and I think she’s grown a lot. And I wanted to get to know this new version of her, and that’s been really awesome to witness,” Stassi gushed.
