Kelli Potter suggested that castmates are trying to “cover up [their] real lives” on Real Housewives of Atlanta, as they have “[no]thing else to talk about” but Kelli. She also hinted at reunion “lies.”
In the new season, Kelli has feuded with Porsha Williams, who accused her at the beginning of the season of sleeping with a married pastor. Porsha also accused Shamea Morton of sleeping with a pastor, leading some fans to believe this is simply Porsha’s go-to accusation toward anyone who challenges her.
“These women don’t have anything else to talk about,” said Kelli in a social media video, via @housewivesfromahousewife on Instagram. “I don’t know what they would talk about if I wasn’t here.”
“I guess they would have to talk about their real lives,” she went on. “They don’t want to talk about their real lives. You know how that goes. Maybe because they’re trying to cover up [their] real lives.”
She then addressed the reunion.
“Reunion is happening on Sunday. Make sure you guys tune in. … Maybe you can get some lies and the truth at the same damn time,” she said. “That’s how it works. A lot of lying going on.”
Kelli said she doesn’t want to take their “negativity” seriously.
“I’m at a space where I just want to set the standard [and] make the ladies work a little bit, make them chatty patties, get their little panties in a bunch,” she said. “Shout out to all the amazing ladies.”
Back in May, Kelli shut down the pastor allegations.
“It has to stop. Enough is enough. I don’t play it. I don’t like it. It’s not fun. And these are people’s real livelihoods,” Kelli said at the time in a social media video. “And I have had to deal with someone affecting my real livelihood on this show.”
“I’m not interested in a pastor. I’m not interested in sleeping with anybody’s husband. I am very much happy with who I’m with,” she continued. “These hoes are lying.”
