Steven McBee Jr. is slamming Summer House alum West Wilson after he targeted longtime friend and Show Me Something podcast co-host Sophie Cunningham, who took a stand against transgender women competing in women’s sports last month.
As he also explained the real issue in his past relationship with Allie Eklund, 29, the 33-year-old star of Bravo’s The McBee Dynasty defended Sophie, 29, against West, 31, and his TikTok declaration, during which he slammed “right-wingers” and suggested trans women in sports was a “borderline non-existent issue.”
“It’s an interesting dynamic,” Steven admitted on the August 13 episode of Tomi Lahren is Fearless. “You have Sophie saying what she did and West saying what he did and they’re on the podcast together.”
According to Steven, Sophie was simply speaking about “what her true beliefs were,” which “she’s absolutely entitled to.”
“Why has that become such a crazy hot topic?” he wondered. “And for any man on earth to feel like they can give an opinion on what should happen in female sports is insane to me.”
Steven then confirmed that he’d reached out to Sophie amid the drama.
“I just said, ‘Hey, kudos to you for sticking to what you believe and not being scared to vocalize that and for continuing to go out there and just focus on basketball and sports,’ which I think is really all her and [Caitlin Clark] want to do,” he continued. “They’re really bothered that this has become, now every single thing they do is put under a microscope and scrutinized so many different ways, whenever all they’re trying to do is go out there and play.”

Meanwhile, on the Fan or Fanatic podcast, Steven offered an update on how he was doing in the months since his messy split from Allie, who he accused of cheating on him at the Stagecoach music festival in April.
“I’m in a much better place,” he confirmed.
According to Steven, much of his issues with Allie stemmed from the fact that they lived very different lifestyles.
“It doesn’t make her a bad person. Like, I think the world of her still. We just have very, very different ways that we like to live,” he explained. “I don’t think it would’ve worked long term, so I wish it wouldn’t have ended the way that it did. But I think it was going to end regardless.”
“Our lifestyle preferences are just too different,” he added.
