Bethenny Frankel Called Out Again for Miscrediting Brand as Small Business Owner Claims She Requested Products Before Team Sent Threatening Email About $30k Licensing Rate, Plus Tamra Judge and Fans React

Bethenny Frankel was recently put on blast by a small business owner, who claimed the 54-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum reached out to her, wanted to help promote her brand, then completely snubbed her.

In a series of screenshots and a video, the woman, The Candy Lace owner Amanda Rojas, called out Bethenny for continuing to share “Outfit of the Day”-style posts in which she wore items from her line, while either crediting the pieces to rival brands or not crediting them at all.

“I’m having a really hard time with my work being [miscredited] and omitted from sourced brands after initially offering to help and having me send this product,” Amanda wrote in a caption to a post shared first to her Instagram Story and later to her main page.

“[Three times] feels intentional and I’m super disappointed,” she explained.

After watching Bethenny give credit to Bauble Bar and Gold Haus in a series of clips, Amanda wondered whether the former RHONY star was being intentional.

“I don’t feel like I’m owed anything — but she offered to help and now it feels like she is very deliberately not saying where these pieces are from,” she reasoned. “I’ve spent the last [three] months not publicly saying this and trying to make the best out of it all by reposting images etc. But she’s never publicly said that I made any of these. And I did. And my heart is broken that it feels so intentional not to credit The Candy Lace.

According to Amanda, she didn’t send Bethenny her items “randomly on a wish and prayer.”

“We had a conversation after my piece was misrepresented by another brand,” she revealed. “I really wanted to believe the best in all parties and to be patient. I understand that everyone has their own life going on. This feels pointed, though. And it’s really crushing me.”

After claiming Bethenny had worn her pieces nearly 30 times since May, Amanda alleged that Gold Haus had represented her handmade work as their own to Bethenny, which led her to reach out.

“[Bethenny] then offered to help and said she wanted to feature my woman-owned business across her channels and asked if I wanted to send her any more pieces to layer,” she recalled. “Since then, she’s called it Bauble Bar and used phrases to omit the necklace credit in outfit videos, citing every other brand worn.”

In an attached email sent from Bethenny’s Senior Director of Product & Commerce on May 11, 2026, a message read, “Hi Amanda, Thanks so much for your note. We’d love to feature your Etsy shop on our socials! Are there other pieces that you’d like Bethenny to wear? She loves your pieces, and we love to support women-owned businesses whenever we can.”

Meanwhile, in a more recent email, Amanda received stern words about her promotion of Bethenny in her items “because help offered never materialized and [she] attempted to do it [herself].”

“We kindly ask that you please remove all promotional content featuring Bethenny, along with references to her in your bio or other marketing materials. If you’re interested in discussing a formal paid partnership with licensed content usage, we would be happy to connect you with our partnerships team. Bethenny’s standard licensing rate is $30,000 per piece of content for 30 days of usage,” the email stated. “Unless and until a written agreement is in place, however, her content and likeness may not be used to market or sell The Candy Lace products … We appreciate the work that goes into building a small, women-owned business and want to handle this respectfully. At the same time, we have to be consistent in protecting Bethenny’s content and likeness across all brands.”

In an accompanying video, Amanda explained that she was “a one-woman business” with “no peers.”

“It is just me. I am losing my f*cking mind. I don’t know where to start. This is all happening in very real time. I am posting everything now because I haven’t said sh*t in three months and now I’m gonna say it all. I’m gonna mention it all,” she declared. “Are you f*cking kidding? I sent the stuff because she offered to help and post about it and never did, and the only like real success I’ve had is because I took it upon myself to make the most of what I got by having these images and videos that never credited me after saying that she would. She’s called it Gold Haus. She’s called it Bauble Bar, who she has a financial partnership with, and she goes out of her way to not say The Candy Lace in videos.”

Following the sharing of Amanda’s post, Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge, 58, weighed in, telling her, “We supported you on the podcast today and want nothing free,” and added a hashtag for “support small business.”

Plenty of other Instagram users weighed in, as well, with one saying, “The email saying she loves to support small businesses but that her rate is $30,000 is hilarious.”

“The irony that she keeps mentioning a brand that steals designs from small businesses as well is sending me. I’m so sorry this happened to you. She must be broke or embarrassed if they are trying to get $30,000 out of you. Jokes on them, public social media content can be remixed, screenshot, and posted unless it is private,” said another.

“A few months ago she did the same thing to a woman-owned shoe brand. Funny how some people forget how hard it is to start from nothing…she was there once,” wrote a third.

Bethenny’s snub of The Candy Lace comes just months after Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Dina Manzo‘s daughter, Lexi Ioannou, 30, slammed her as a “weird” for wearing shoes she sent her by failing to provide proper credit — and instead linking a dupe brand to make money for herself.

“Bethenny Frankel is a weirdo,” Lexi stated. “I sent her a pair of shoes, from Nou, almost a year ago because I look up to her … She didn’t tag us after wearing the shoes multiple times online, which, okay, that happens. But then today she posted a video that’s going viral and a bunch of people are asking where the shoes are [from]. And instead of linking them, she linked a dupe and with an affiliate link.”

In response, Bethenny accused Lexi of “playing the short game,” “whining,” and “being a crybaby.”

“[She’s] not a real business person [and has] a lot to learn,” Bethenny added.
