Claudia Jordan claimed that Kelli Potter “paid” Phaedra Parks for her legal services, and she revealed the origin of her own feud with Porsha Williams.
On the new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Phaedra (an attorney) shared that she helped Kelli out with legal issues amid her child custody situation with her ex-husband. It was also hinted that Kelli once dated Porsha’s ex-boyfriend. When Claudia was still on the show, she and Porsha argued often.
On Reality with The King, Claudia revealed what started her issues with Porsha from the very beginning. According to Claudia, her unnamed friend, who was in a relationship with Porsha at the time, introduced her to Claudia.
“You know who he is because he’d be bailing your girl out of jail when she gets mugshots taken,” said Claudia cryptically, via @nochaser_tv on Instagram. “He was around since [Porsha’s first husband] Kordell [Stewart]. Matter of fact, when I met Portia, he invited me to lunch and to dinner, and I met her. She was a sweet girl, fresh out of getting out of the divorce, and I was introduced to her as — she was [my friend’s] girlfriend.”
“So imagine my surprise when we went out that night, and his other rich friend comes, and Porsha says, ‘I need to get that,’ Claudia recalled. “So that was my first issue with her, because if [you’re introduced to me] as my friend’s girl and [then] you’re telling me you want to step out on my boy, I’m looking at you crazy. And I’ve always looked at her sideways since.”
Claudia said this was their “origin story.”
“Number two, [my friend] is a guy that has had her back for a very long,” said Claudia. “He was around for a lot of the stuff. … And like I said at that reunion, if you think this is defamation and I’m lying, file a lawsuit. Okay, but you can’t.”
“There was a time when Kelli and [this same friend] were kicking it, because they called me one time and said hi. And that’s how I got introduced to [Kelli],” Claudia continued. “Me and Kelli do not be talking all the time like that. [There] was a couple DMs like about what we say in the show. It wasn’t no feeding her info [or] her feeding me info. It has been none of that.”
But Claudia said she and Kelli recently had “a little contact” when Kelli “told me a couple of things.”
“She actually did pay Phaedra’s law firm some money. So it wasn’t all free,” Claudia explained. “But she did say Phaedra did the work pro bono with the company.”
