Will Nathan Gallagher remain a fixture on Below Deck: Mediterranean following the recent news of his December 2025 domestic violence arrest?
Although Bravo has yet to announce the official cast of the series’ upcoming 12th season, which will air next year and feature a Summer House crossover, an insider has spoken out about Nathan’s future on the show after he was accused of “choking” a woman in Sydney, Australia.
“Nathan was not cut from the current season while the court process plays out, but they do not condone the behavior of the charges made against him,” an insider told The U.S. Sun, noting that season 11 had filmed prior to Nathan’s arrest.
As for season 12, Nathan, 27, will reportedly “not be” seen, and it was “already filmed.”
“They’re all on a year-by-year and per-season basis. If they get picked up for another season, great. But if not, it’s not like this big dramatic firing thing. In Nathan’s case though, looks like that ship has sailed – pun intended. It seems likely he won’t be back,” the insider added.
As Nathan’s arrest was confirmed, it was revealed that the incident involved a 29-year-old woman at an apartment complex, and that Nathan had been charged with “assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent and common assault.”
Although the victim was not named, Gael Cameron, now 30, was 29 at the time of Nathan’s arrest and filed an apprehended violence application, which is like a restraining order, against him.
In an interview for Daily Dish in September 2025, Captain Sandy Yawn discussed the up-and-down relationship between Nathan and Gael, who met on set years ago and share a son, Kayden.
“I’m the captain. People are very limited when they share things with me,” she said. “But that doesn’t mean I might walk around a corner and see something and decide not to be a part of that and kind of back up my pace.”
Sandy said she saw this happen “so many times” on the boat with Gael and Nathan, and she found the couple’s story, from their breakup to reconciliation to having a son in June, “fascinating.”
“Some people are just meant to be together,” she stated.
Below Deck: Mediterranean season 11 airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.
