Denise Richardsestranged husband, Aaron Phypers, claims she owes him over $23,000 in unpaid support after being ordered to pay him $5,000 per month earlier this year.

As he also blamed her for an eviction, the potential repossession of his car, and his “cheap” new home, Aaron, 53, accused the 55-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum of paying only a portion of the required support, which has led him to face dire circumstances pertaining to his finances.

According to a declaration filed by Aaron and obtained by TMZ on September 2, Aaron said that he had no power, water, gas, or cell phone access, that his car was going to be repossessed, and that he couldn’t afford to put gas in his vehicle.

He also claimed he was forced to move in with his family to a “humblingly cheap place not far from my attorney’s office,” and he noted that because Denise destroyed his phone last year, he couldn’t reach out to business contacts for work or generate income for himself.

Earlier this year, after a judge agreed to seal documents related to their divorce, Denise admitted that her split from Aaron had been “humiliating and painful” on Instagram.

“I would have preferred our divorce to be as private as possible. This has been humiliating and painful going thru this. I offered to have a private judge from the beginning which would’ve protected him too, especially with details surrounding the [domestic violence] … most celebrities prefer it. My ex wouldn’t do it unless I signed a one sided NDA [and] I would have to pay him [$250,000] per breach before he would consider it,” she wrote in a comment. “This is after he went on a defaming smear campaign about me. Clearly I didn’t sign it. Mostly because he would probably be the ‘source’ breaching the agreement.”

Months later, on the Dumb Blonde podcast, Denise opened up about what she described as an “abusive marriage.”

“I’ll never forget the one time when he first hit me … I was like, ‘Oh f**k, there’s no going back from this,’” she said. “[Then] you see who they were that you fell in love with. And that they’re so remorseful. He was so remorseful. And to the [point] where I felt bad for him, where I’m like, ‘It’s not that bad.’ I played it down. I didn’t [even know] the mental part of it at that point.”

She then recalled a moment in which Aaron allegedly “gave [her] a black eye.”

“That was where I was like … ‘What am I gonna do now? What am I going to tell people?’ … I knew it was wrong, but I was so beaten down … that I didn’t know how to leave,” she admitted.

Although Aaron denied the abuse, Denise was granted a restraining order against him that will remain active until 2030.
