When a Real Housewives star announces they want to sing, fans are sometimes dubious.
This is largely due to some of the past Housewives singers not necessarily having the vocal chops to perform.
After seeing Real Housewives of Salt Lake City friend of Britani Bateman perform her cabaret show What About Me? at 54 Below in New York City the other night, Reality Blurb can definitely confirm she is a star.
Prior to Britani, 55, coming out, a montage played with clips of her from the show and a song about her “high body count hair.”
Then, she emerged from the back of the room with her two male dancers moving feathers to introduce her. It was clear from the jump she was completely in her element.

RHOSLC star Britani Bateman performs at her cabaret show ‘What About Me?’ in New York on September 2.
She opened with a rousing performance of “Let Me Entertain You” from the Broadway show Gypsy.
From the very beginning, it was clear Britani had the vocal chops to be on Broadway, and her voice truly sounded stunning.
Once she moved to the stage, she proudly declared, “It’s Britani, b*tch,” which is an infamous line Britney Spears said in her 2007 song “Gimme More.”
She then performed Britney’s “What U See (Is What U Get). ”
Other songs Britani performed throughout the show, which lasted roughly an hour, included “Part of Your World” from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, a song she sang when she performed in a touring production of Miss Saigon, and “Let Me Be Your Star” from Smash.
In true diva fashion, Britani exited after her last number and returned for an encore, only to be carried out by her dancers at the end.
Aside from performing, Britani also did a fun Q&A section where she answered questions from audience members about the show. These included a question about the upcoming seventh season, in which the heartbreaking death of Mary Cosby‘s son was mentioned.
Overall, Britani put on quite a fun show in which she absolutely shined. There was not a dull moment at all, and she wowed the crowd with her vocal prowess as well as her fun stories. We would highly recommend checking out her show if you get a chance.
