Luis Ruelas’ ex-fiance Vanessa Reiser said she’s “confused” as to why Teresa Giudice would “hate me,” given that they’ve “never met” – as her attorney Douglas Anton and Kim DePaola reacted. Plus, Vanessa also addressed their strange save-the-date photo.
After Luis married Teresa, he was in a legal dispute with Vanessa, accusing her of defamation. Douglas represented Vanessa, though he’s also represented Kim in the past for an unrelated case. On Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa seemingly shaded Vanessa as she defended her husband.
“I have never met Teresa Giudice, so I’m just confused about why she would hate me so much,” said Vanessa on Kim’s “Get Real” podcast. “You don’t know me.”
Kim added, “[Teresa] doesn’t know you, and I would want to know Vanessa if I was Teresa. I would want to know her, and I would set it straight. … As a woman, [I would ask] what exactly took place and how can we rectify this. … That’s what a real woman does.”
But Vanessa’s attorney said there’s “nothing to rectify.”
“She could have reached out and said, ‘Listen, I will make sure that Luis keeps his mouth shut about anything. So would you please do the same?’ Which is what we eventually wound up doing,” said Anton.

On the same podcast, Kim asked Vanessa to explain a picture of her kissing a shirtless Luis in front of the Eiffel Tower.
“So this is the magnet for our wedding we were going to have in July of 2020,” said Vanessa.
Kim then showed a similar photo of Luis kissing Teresa in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Kim commented, “I would not want to see myself in the exact same picture that he took with someone he was engaged to and in love with.”
On the same podcast, Anton revealed what Luis allegedly did in court during their past defamation case.
“Mr. Ruelas gave me a jar of pickles in the middle of a trial,” Anton shared. “He just wrote my name Anton on it, a big Costco jar, put it in the hallway with my name on it. My paralegal saw him do it.”
Anton claimed the judge was “not too happy.”
“They were delicious,” said Anton. “[Did] it have to do with [him suggesting] I’m a sour puss? Does it have to do with phallic size? … I mean, who knows what [Luis is] trying to convey, but I thought it was comical and a sign of weakness that he even did it.”
