Fans of Don’t Be Tardy alum Kim Zolciak were stunned when her 15-year-old son Kroy “KJ” Jagger Biermann was arrested on claims of sexual battery last month.
KJ is currently sitting behind bars at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center, as a bond for him was not set.
As he awaits his preliminary hearing that has been scheduled for September 1, KJ has had visits from Kim, 48, according to a new TMZ report.
They spoke to multiple sources who revealed Kim has visited KJ multiple times, most recently on Tuesday with her daughter Brielle Biermann.
TMZ was the first to obtain court documents on August 21 that stated a sexual assault was reported on April 24 at the North Fulton Hospital, where a girl KJ went to school with, along with her father, told police that an encounter with KJ had taken place one day prior.
The girl alleged that she and KJ were spending time together at the gym and ended up going into a co-ed sauna when she claimed he got handsy.
She detailed that she attempted to tell him “no” but alleged he wouldn’t stop and forced her mouth onto his penis and digitally penetrated her vagina.
Police reached out to KJ’s father, Kroy Biermann, on May 14, after an investigation, and ended up speaking with him on May 18.
Kroy, 40, claimed that he would bring up the matter to Kim.
The police report noted the girl went to the hospital for an examination, and doctors found no evidence of any male DNA in her mouth or vagina.
Kim was quick to rush to her son’s defense and spoke out on August 21.
“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” she said at the time. “My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed. Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found.”
“False accusations can have devastating consequences not only for the person being accused, but also for genuine survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence. At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation,” she continued. “We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.”
