Brandi Glanville has been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis, Demodex dermatitis, and Mononucleosis.

In a series of new posts on social media, the 53-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who has been facing health challenges for years, showcased a disturbing fungal ball in her face as she explained the steps she will be taking to get well amid a lengthy treatment plan.

“I’m finally ready to tell you what I’ve actually been fighting and to start sharing some of my worst moments leading up to finally getting diagnosed. I’ve been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis[,] and Mononucleosis,” Brandi revealed on Instagram on September 8, tagging Los Angeles-based physician Dr. Mark Farber.

“I also have a fungal ball in my face that needs to be removed. I have to get the metals from old dental work out of my mouth, my breast implants need to come out, and I’m looking at [four to six] months of daily IV treatment,” she continued.

According to Brandi, her treatment thus far has not been easy, nor has it been very effective.

“I still have a couple surgeries ahead of me and months of treatment to go,” she stated. “Even with insurance, this is costing me around [$3,300 to $6,000] a month. I’m not able to work right now other than my podcast and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to do this mentally or financially.”

While she endures grueling treatments, Brandi will continue to share her journey.

“I’m sharing some really bad moments, and I know I don’t look good in these videos. Honestly, I don’t care. I feel terrible, and this is what being sick looks like for me right now,” she explained. “So please be nice in the comments. I’m already fighting enough.”

In an accompanying video, Brandi gave her fans and followers a look inside her struggles.

As she showcased a line going down her face, Brandi also displayed a “pouch” near her neckline and said it went down to her shoulder.

“Over the years of not being diagnosed properly, it has spread. Now it goes down my right arm … It’s, this is the whole thing,” she said as she grabbed a lump in her neck. “It’s hard as a rock, and it curves … I can’t even like, I really just, I’m so sick. I just want it cut out of my face.”

In another clip, Brandi said she had a “really f*cked up rash on my face” and could not “open my mouth on the left side very well.”

Hours prior, Brandi shared a post on X.

“Another day, another IV,” she captioned the clip. “I’m finally getting some answers about what’s been going on inside my face. The ultrasound showed something I wasn’t prepared to see… and yes, I saw it with my own eyes.”

Then, as she endured a four-hour infusion, Brandi described a shocking ultrasound.

“We did the ultrasound. In the doctor’s office, the technician said that there was something alive in my face, that it was moving, and she’d never seen anything like it, and then the radiologist agreed. And so yeah, if I don’t find a doctor to cut this out of my face, I’m just gonna do it myself,” Brandi concluded.

Brandi Glanville was featured in a full-time role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from season three through season five.
