Andy Cohen believes Joe Giudice will receive a pardon from President Donald Trump and be allowed to return to the U.S. from his home in the Bahamas following his October 2019 deportation.
As he welcomed Gia Giudice, 25, to Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night, where she discussed Ariana Biermann‘s boy drama, her upcoming move with boyfriend Christian Carmichael, and her rose and thorn of Next Gen NYC season two, Andy, 58, shared his thoughts on Joe’s potential return.
“I feel like Trump’s gonna do it … he knows your mom,” Andy noted on the September 9 episode of WWHL, giving a nod to Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, 54.
“Maybe just speak it into the universe,” Gia replied. “At this point, I don’t even care who does it. I just want him home. I think that’s the goal. I think that’s the hope. We do have things in place, and it’s just a matter of when, I guess, people will sympathize with his story.”
Looking back on the Next Gen NYC cast’s trip to the Bahamas, Gia said she was originally going there to see her dad before everyone texted her with their plan to visit the island.
“I was like, ‘Wow, that’s really funny. Everyone’s going to the Bahamas,’” she recalled, then joking that her Uncle Pete was the person who got the most drunk during her visit.
Moving on to her castmates, Gia, who first requested Trump pardon Joe, 54, last summer after he was kicked out of the country due to a fraud conviction, denied that Ariana, 24, ever gave off “couple vibes” with Charlie Zakkour, 31.
“They were a fling,” Gia clarified.
Then, after criticizing the way Charlie spoke about Ariana in the group, saying there was a “lack of respect,” Gia reacted to the finale love triangle drama Ariana experienced with Charlie and Liam Obergfoll, 29.
“I think any girl loves the attention of two guys. I think it was a little overwhelming, but she was hot. She’s single … She’s hot. She’s single. And she was having fun,” Gia noted.
As for her own love life, Gia confirmed she and Christian were moving in together in “November” before clarifying that he wasn’t against appearing on camera.
“That’s not fully true. He doesn’t mind being on camera. He’s fully supportive of me. I think it’s just when we’re filming in season it might feel like a lot because we’re filming more than usual, but overall, he has no problem with it, and hopefully you guys will see more of him in season three,” she teased.
Also on WWHL, Gia shared her rose and thorn of season two.
“My rose was me moving into my apartment. I was very excited about that. And my thorn was kind of just seeing the true colors of casemates this season. I honestly wish I was colorblind,” she admitted.
The Next Gen NYC season two reunion begins next Tuesday, September 15, at 9/8c on Bravo.
