The news surrounding Don’t Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak‘s 15-year-old son Kroy “KJ” Jagger Biermann took a dark turn today when he was accused of having sex with an underage family member after videos were found on his phone.
As those following the news surrounding KJ are well aware, he is already in jail after being accused of sexually assaulting a high school classmate this year.
The new reveal regarding the accusation involving a family member and videos came out today at a bond hearing in Georgia.
Hours after that hearing, Page Six is now reporting that KJ has been granted bond and is expected to be released soon.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge has set his bond at $200,000. The judge added some release stipulations stating KJ is required to stay at his mother’s home and must attend school virtually. He is also banned from using social media and from using a cellphone.
Additionally, the high schooler must also abstain from having any direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim, her family or associates, and is barred from being in contact with anyone aged 16 or under.
He will also be subjected to electronic monitoring.
Earlier in court, KJ’s lawyer, Jason B. Sheffield, had argued for his release with a $65,000 bond, arguing that jail had been “so traumatizing” for him. Prosecutors however argued against his release but proposed a $190,000 bond should the judge agree.
They argued that the alleged high school victim, who is said to be the best friend of KJ’s girlfriend, suffered “documented physical injury” from the April encounter.
The alleged high school victim had also appeared in court earlier today to plead with the judge not to release KJ, stating she was “living in fear” since the incident.
Meanwhile, KJ’s lawyer spoke to TMZ to respond to the latest allegations involving KJ and a family member under the age of 12.
“The characterizations made in court regarding the prior juvenile matter involving KJ Biermann grossly misrepresent both the facts and the ultimate resolution of that case,” Jason claimed.
When talking about the videos, Jason shared, “The matter arose from inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers.”
When prosecutors discussed the videos with the judge, they said they showed penetrative sex and that, in them, KJ used “predatory, derogatory” language when speaking to the relative.
They also claimed he had been charged with sexual battery of a victim under 16 years old and that the case had been handled in a juvenile court setting, which explains why the matter was not publicly known until today.
Since the first charge, prosecutors noted KJ has been under court supervision since October 2025.
Jason insisted the case the prosecutors were referencing “did not result in an adjudication for statutory rape, sexual intercourse, or any comparable offense.”
When discussing the videos in court today, Jason reportedly said he had not seen the evidence from KJ’s last case, but said he is under the impression the videos show “more ridiculous, raunchy behavior.”
He conceded they were “boundary-crossing inappropriate” and said they resulted in KJ getting group counseling and reunification.
After the court hearing, Kim, 48, and her daughter Brielle Biermann, 29, were seen exiting the court.

While reporters tried shouting questions at them, the pair stayed mum.
Kroy Biermann, 40, who is KJ’s father and Kim’s estranged husband, was said to be at the court, but there has not been video of him shown to date.
