Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, is being accused of having sex with an underage family member after disturbing videos were found on his phone.
Amid a bond hearing at Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court on Friday, outside of which the 48-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum appeared somber, a prosecutor alleged that KJ, who is already facing seven felony charges due to an alleged sexual assault against a female classmate, engaged in “multiple encounters” with an unnamed victim.
According to a September 11 report from Page Six, Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy revealed that investigators had found videos on KJ’s cellphone amid the hearing, noting that the teen boy was seen using “predatory, derogatory” language toward the victim, who was described as “under the age of 12.”
“This would now mark the second time he has been charged with an offense of a sexual nature of a very serious kind which involves female victims,” she noted.
The District Attorney went on to clarify that KJ had been charged with sexual assault against his classmate after the reported encounters with his family member and claimed he had been under court supervision for that first charge since October 2025.
Amid the hearing, Judge Melynee Leftridge said she would decide whether KJ should be released from Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center by Monday.
As he attempted to secure a bond for KJ, the child’s defense attorney, Jason Sheffield, told the judge, “This has been so traumatizing to [KJ] personally. He is not a boisterous kid. He is somewhat quiet.”
He then requested KJ be released on $65,000 bond and said Kim would keep an eye on him. However, the District Attorney argued that the victim in his sexual assault case had “documented physical injury” due to KJ’s “predatory” behavior, as the victim admitted she was “living in fear.”
“No matter who these threats came from directly, I cannot just ignore them or assume that nothing will happen,” the victim wrote. “I am not only scared for myself anymore; I am scared for my family, too. Members of my family have received emails and phone calls because of this situation … The thought of him being released scares me more than I can put into words.”
During the hearing, KJ was described as “emotionless,” as his parents, including a “stone-faced” Kim and a “stressed” Kroy, and his sister, Brielle Biermann, 29, sat in a gallery.

Amid his efforts to convince the judge to release KJ, the child’s defense attorney said he was a “high school student in good standing who has demonstrated strong academic achievement and regularly participates in extracurricular and community-based activities.”
“He is an accomplished football player who has received scholarship offers based upon his athletic ability,” he continued.
The attorney also told Page Six that KJ was “expecting to enter not guilty pleas to all charges.”
KJ is facing seven felony charges, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16, and false imprisonment, as a result of the alleged April 23 incident with his classmate at the Life Time Fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia, during which he allegedly forced his victim to provide oral sex before he digitally penetrated her vagina.
