Brynn Whitfield appeared to offer a shady reaction to the recent premiere of the 16th season of The Real Housewives of New York City on her Instagram page on Thursday.
Following her exit from the series last summer, which was followed by the additions of new cast members Daisy Toye, Erika Hammond, 35, and Hailey Glassman, 39, and the return of Carole Radziwill, 63, Brynn posted a message about something being “so boring” without her.
“When you keep hearing: ‘It’s just SO boring without you,’” Brynn, 39, wrote in the caption of a September 10 video of herself on a NYC street with her dog, adding in another message, “(Which is precisely why you leave the party).”

Following the sharing of the post, Brynn was met with several fans who wholeheartedly disagreed with Brynn’s apparent suggestion of the show.
“No shade but it wasn’t boring,” one person stated.
“Yayyyy good! NYC deserves funny … just bein’ cheeky,” Brynn replied.
Another said, “This was the best first episode of RHONY in years. Let’s not lie to ourselves bby.”
“I heard it was funnier than our first ep!! Makes me very happy, truly,” Brynn admitted. “NYC deserves the best show.”
As RHONY fans will recall, Brynn exited the series in June 2025 after accusing Ubah Hassan, 43, of using a past sexual assault against her.
“After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to walk away from reality TV. For now,” Brynn announced in a statement. “Last week, Hoppy — the dating app I co-founded and proudly serve as Chief Marketing Officer — hit a massive download milestone. I can’t even put into words how surreal it feels. All I want to do now is pour every ounce of energy into building Hoppy into the #1 dating app in the world.”
Then, after admitting that the experience of filming RHONY was “one of the most fun, chaotic, and magical chapters of [her] life,” she added that it was “the honor of a lifetime to help reboot such an iconic franchise.”
“From day one, I’ve believed RHONY is a fan’s show — we’re just temporary custodians of something that truly belongs to the viewers,” she shared. “I hope I made you laugh (a lot), [and] cry (a little).”
Brynn also spoke of her departure from the show on Gia Giudice‘s podcast, Casual Chaos.
“I just think for me, it got so – when something’s no longer fun, I’m like out immediately, whether it be a relationship, a job, anything,” she explained.
