Watch What Happens Live host and Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen is used to having people in the hot seat, both on his show and on reunion episodes that he hosts.
Typically, Andy is not the one being criticized, but that changed yesterday.
Specifically, comments that Andy, 58, had made about actress Julia Stiles, 45, came under fire.
Andy had previously claimed that Julia, who had starred in the movie Save the Last Dance, was “not the greatest dancer on the planet.”
The actress is currently competing on season 35 of Dancing With the Stars.
In the preview before she performed her first dance, Julia shared that her dance scenes were done by a stunt double and conceded that dancing would be hard for her; however, she was insistent that she wanted to prove Andy and other people wrong, showing them that she could do a good dance number.
She came out and danced to Dolly Parton‘s hit song “9 to 5.”
After the number was done, DWTS judge Derek Hough, 41, took a shot at Andy.
The judges ended up giving Julia sixes across the board, and she got an overall score of 18.
On WWHL last night, Andy addressed the situation.
“Julia, I am so sorry,” he said on the show, awarding himself the “Jackhole of the day” award. “I’m the last person who should be giving anyone feedback on their dancing. Case in point.”
He then showed video footage of him dancing, which, admittedly, was not the best.
“Great job, Julia Stiles!” Andy added. “You killed it tonight! You did amazing tonight, and I know you’re going to have a great run. And this diva gives all of you permission to flood my inbox with the 10 things you hate about me.”
Julia has yet to reply to Andy’s apology.
