Southern Charm Star Craig Conover Reveals He Sold the Engagement Ring He Bought for Paige DeSorbo, Confirms It Was a “Good-Sized” Diamond Worth “Enough for a Rental Property,” and Shares If They Speak, Plus Denies Kissing Salley Carson and Shares What Was Cut From the Hot Tub Scene

Craig Conover appears to have sold the engagement ring he bought Paige DeSorbo before their 2024 split.

While appearing on Tamra Judge, 59, and Teddi Mellencamp‘s podcast on Thursday, the 37-year-old Southern Charm star detailed an interaction with his jeweler as he confirmed that the ring, which his Summer House alum ex suggested he lied about, cost as much as a rental property and denied ever kissing Salley Carson, 31.

“A lot of people don’t understand the ring process. They thought you just go into a store and buy a ring. But no, I bought a stone and then had it made,” Craig explained on the September 17 episode of Two Ts in a Pod.

Nearly two years after splitting from Paige, who has seemingly been dating sports executive Joe D’Amelio ever since, Craig appeared to reveal that he had finally unloaded the diamond.

“A month ago, [my jeweler’s] like, ‘I have a buyer for the stone. You’re gonna eat some, but is this number okay?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s great.’ And for me, it was kind of a bonus because I had forgotten about it. I was gonna buy a rental property with it,” he explained.

Then, after agreeing that it was a “good-sized ring,” Craig said, “It was enough for a rental property.”

He also confirmed that, “No,” he and Paige do not speak.

During another moment of the podcast, after Teddi, 44, suggested Salley “publicly shamed” him by saying Kyle Cooke, 44, was the best sex she ever had, Craig revealed, “Salley and I have never even kissed.”

“Where do you guys get your info?” he added.

Then, after the mentions of late nights in the hot tub were brought up, Craig said that he and Salley were not alone during those instances. In fact, they were joined by a couple of their castmates.

“It was with [Charley Manley] and [Kory Keefer]. That’s what they cut out of the show,” he explained. “Me and Salley have never been in a hot tub by ourselves together, ever.”

Amid season 11 of Southern Charm, Craig grew close to Salley but later made it clear that he did not want to date her. From there, he engaged in a short-lived fling with Charley, 28, who is now dating Southern Hospitality star Justin Assad, 29.
