Last night on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, fans saw Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jacqueline Laurita on their screens for the first time since 2017.
When she was last on the show, she was not in a good place with Melissa Gorga after the two got into an explosive fight on a cast trip.
On RHUGT, Jacqueline, 56, approached Melissa, 47, to speak.
From the clip of their conversation fans were privy to, they saw Jacqueline quickly let down her guard.
“I feel like we both have our perception of what happened back then, but honestly, I don’t want to go back there,” she told Melissa. “I’m letting go of all of that crap.”
The two ended up letting things go and giving each other a hug.
Later, Jacqueline told Teresa Giudice that she had let things go with Melissa, and Teresa, 54, seemed relieved, given that she had recently rekindled her relationship with Melissa as well.
In the wake of the episode airing, an insider exclusively shared with Reality Blurb why Jacqueline was so quick to let things go with Melissa.
“Jacqueline and Teresa made up in 2023, as fans know,” the source said. “They have remained friends.”
“Due to Jacqueline’s friendship with Teresa – and Teresa finally being on good terms with Melissa – she didn’t want to cause any more tension,” they continued.
The source noted that just because Jacqueline was nice to Melissa “doesn’t mean she’s happy with how things ended years ago.”
“She simply let it go to not cause any more drama,” they reiterated.
As fans will recall, Jacqueline and Melissa’s heated argument broke out at a dinner in Vermont during season seven of RHONJ.
The infamous “strippergate” incident from RHONJ was brought up, where Teresa was accused of allegedly trying to out Melissa as a stripper in season four.
At the dinner in Vermont, Jacqueline insisted that Melissa tell the table that she had warned her about the setup.
Rather than side with her, Melissa claimed she couldn’t remember, leading Jacqueline to unleash on Melissa and call her a “fake phony b*tch.”
“You have four nose jobs that you won’t even admit to!” Jacqueline added as proof that Melissa was fake. “We go to the same doctor, honey.”
After leaving RHONJ, Jacqueline moved to Las Vegas, and she currently resides in California.
