Below Deck Mediterranean reportedly left out part of Nathan Gallagher and Joe Bradley’s intense argument in the latest episode, after he was recently convicted of domestic violence against his now-ex Gael Cameron, the mother of their 14-month-old son.
Throughout the new season, Nathan and Joe have feuded, though they were close friends for the majority of last season. One thing they’ve argued about is Joe’s alleged disrespect for Gael, though Joe maintains that he didn’t do anything wrong.
In the latest episode, Gael, Nathan, and Joe were in a van together on a night out. When Gael and Nathan were explaining how they met in a past season, Joe mumbled to Kayley Smith that they’ve all heard the story, and it happened “75 years ago.” Gael then told Joe to speak respectfully about Nathan. When Joe responded that he wasn’t being disrespectful, Nathan seemed to get more heated. At this point, Joe asked Nathan, “Are you going to hit me?” But Gael quickly told Nathan not to, and the episode ended on this “To Be Continued” cliffhanger.
According to a report from Us Weekly, Bravo left out part of the argument between Nathan and Joe.
Earlier in the episode, Nathan shared his plan to have an offshore dinner with Gael and the entire crew. When Joe heard about it, he went to his room to get some privacy. Joe later said in a confessional, “The state of me and Nathan is not great lately, and now we’re introducing Gael into the mix? That’s exactly what we don’t need. … If he wants to ruin tonight with talking [explicit] about Gael, I’m gonna make sure that I say what I think about him.”
Joe avoided Nathan and Gael most of the evening, which is one of the reasons Gael confronted Joe in the van.
Nathan was arrested in December of last year for allegedly assaulting Gael in Australia, where they live. He was convicted on September 1 on three counts of domestic violence. Bravo then announced that he wouldn’t be returning to the show.
