Jeff Lewis’ ex Gage Edward shaded Jeff’s new Bravo show, Still Flipping Out, after recently revealing that he chose not to film for it. Gage then claimed that more people watched his reel than the “whole first episode” of Jeff’s show, and he said Bravo should “call me back next time.”
Recently, Gage posted an Instagram reel, revealing that he chose not to film Still Flipping Out because he wants to focus on other opportunities and projects. Gage was featured on the original show, Flipping Out, when he and Jeff were still in a relationship. Jeff and Gage are now co-parenting their daughter after their past custody battle.
“Oh my gosh, you guys, I have to update you,” said Gage in a recent Instagram video. “So I posted this reel, just describing my situation [about how] after seven years of filming and eight years off from filming, I just [think] it’s time to pump the brakes. Like, I got to focus on me, finally, for once.”
“[The reel was about how] I’m just going to focus on all of these opportunities, and [how] things are just like being thrown at me, so I can’t film,” he continued. “And so, you know, I told you all that — basically launched my influencer career. And what’s crazy is that more people watched that reel than watched the whole television show, the whole first episode [of Still Flipping Out].”
Gage added that “maybe I’m onto something.”
“All that production dollar and the months of pre-production and the, ‘Edit this and clip that and reshoot that dinner scene cause we didn’t get it the first time,’ you know, all of that stuff. I just spent like five minutes and like posted a reel and more people watched it,” he explained. “So, Bravo, maybe you call me back next time.”
Last month on Substack, Gage hinted at his co-parenting drama with Jeff.
“Our common thread was communicating on parenting our daughter. Non-negotiable. We’re in each other’s lives,” wrote Gage cryptically at the time. “He knew from all the years prior of wanting to have a family together and in those first two years how I actually was as a parent, that that would be my Achilles heel. That was a thing you could really attack me on, and it would be highly effective at inflicting unimaginable pain.”
New episodes of Still Flipping Out air Monday nights on Bravo.
