Pavit Randhawa reacted to the rumor about his sexuality on Real Housewives of New York City, as his wife, Jessel Taank, and Carole Radziwill feuded in the comments on his post.
In the latest episode, Sai de Silva shared that Erin Lichy spread a rumor that Pavit is gay and hooks up with men in the steam room at Equinox, his gym. It was also suggested that Erin was holding onto a piece of information that could supposedly ruin Jessel’s family. Jessel denied the rumor completely.
In a recent Instagram post, Pavit addressed the rumor while making fun of it in a video filmed at his gym.
“I do love to break a sweat at Equinox but not in that way,” he wrote in the caption. “#fakenews.”
In the video itself, a man jokingly approached Pavit to ask, “You want to meet me in the steam room later?” Pavit responded, “Maybe later.”
Later in the video, Pavit said, “The best part about a workout is the steam room afterwards.” He then walked into the steam room as romantic music played in the background. “Coming in!”
In the comments, Carole responded, via @queensofbravo on Instagram, “Go Pavit! This is hilarious. I actually love how Jessel jokes about it now…you’ll see, that was her initial reaction. I just wish she then didn’t act ‘furious’ about it for the rest of time!”
Jessel then clapped back, “Appreciate the commentary but to be clear – I did think the rumor is ridiculous and treated it as such – but watching the season and seeing Erin’s ‘I know something that will ruin her family’ comment and intention behind it?! Now that’s weaponizing the rumor against us. And THAT is why I have every right to be ‘furious’.”
Carole then responded.
“Babe, your timeline is off. Let me fix it: like I said your initial reaction was perfect & funny but you didn’t treat it that way…instead you decided to be furious about the ‘ridiculous rumor’ and your fury continued the entire time we filmed LAST SPRING,” said Carole. “By your own admission you only found out that Erin thought it would ruin the family when you watched the show LAST WEEK.”
“So after you watched her say that awful thing you guys filmed that funny video. So to be clear — you thought the rumor was ridiculous but you pretended to be furious while we were filming,” she went on. “Only to be furious when you saw the show but decided to film a ridiculous video. Got it.”
Jessel added, “I don’t need you to ‘fix’ anything. Just keep watching and stay cosy in ur tube socks.”
