Daisy Toye reacted to a rumor claiming Jessel Taank‘s husband, Pavit Randhawa, was gay on Watch What Happens Live after the claim was made on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New York City.
As she also spoke of her participation in a conversation with Jessel, 46, about Erin Lichy‘s house flood, recalled Sai De Silva‘s questioning of Carole Radziwill, 63, and revealed how Sai, 45, gets under her skin, Daisy confirmed whether or not she ate meat, named Martha Stewart‘s most annoying quality, and addressed rumors about her marriage to Eugene Toye.
“Why was it brought to television? On the cameras, that was like, if you heard that, whisper it privately when we’re not mic’d. It definitely should not have been brought to the world,” Daisy stated on the October 13 episode of WWHL after being asked about the rumor about Pavit’s sexuality.
She then took accountability for her role in the shady comments about Erin’s flood potentially being an insurance ploy, admitting she “should not have mentioned it at all” and stating that she felt “awful” when her comments aired.
“That’s something I would never say. I have manners. I was caught on a hot mic saying that. I did not want her to hear that,” Daisy noted.
Regarding Sai and her questions about Carole’s ties to the Epstein files, Daisy revealed she was taken aback.
“I thought Sai came in so hot and I just saw the episode, and I’m gagging for Carole. She’s mean, Sai, by saying, ‘I don’t buy it.’ [It was] not nice,” she declared. “I didn’t think about Carole in that way at all … another person in the files. Who cares? There are so many people that are in the files.”
Daisy also answered a series of rapid-fire questions about Sai and their friendship, revealing that she trusts Sai a “six” out of 10 and that Sai gets under her skin when “she doesn’t stick up for me when she should.”
Looking back on her many complaints about Erika Hammond‘s private island, Daisy admitted to being a “pain in the a**” and a “hotel snob” before joking that traveling with Martha “f*cked [her] up.”
“The island is beautiful. It’s like, it’s amazing. I’m not one to talk. I don’t even have a kitchen island. It was fine,” she added. “I got to sleep in a real bed, not a cot … [There was] good hot sauce … Unlimited tequila. We had lots of laughs. We really bonded.”
But Daisy didn’t stop there. She then seemingly shaded Erika again by saying that she “lost weight” on their trip because the food was from Costco.
Also about food, Daisy denied the suggestion that she was seen eating meat on the show.
“Nothing gets me more annoyed than that comment. It makes my blood boil,” she shared. “It was a carrot in my brisket. I cook a lot of meat from Quinton and Eugene. I’m not like a vegetarian, like, ‘Oh, I’m not touching it. I love animals so much.'”
“I really don’t [eat meat]. I’m okay with tasting the sauce,” she added.
Also on the live broadcast, after saying that Martha’s most annoying quality was that she “is always right,” Daisy addressed rumors of trouble in paradise between her and Eugene.
“No, no, no … this week we love each other. Yeah,” she confirmed.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Daisy was asked what she hoped to get off her chest at the upcoming reunion.
“That I’m a good friend,” she answered. “I really think that we need to focus on that cuz there’s a lot of chitter-chatter about me being a hater, and I’m just a good friend, and I don’t think it’s really shown that way.”
The Real Housewives of New York City season 16 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
