Hailey Glassman appeared on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she looked back on her past relationship with Jon Gosselin.
While sharing whether she ever cleared the air with his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, 51, explaining her mom’s ties to Jon, 49, and dishing on her husband Rubin and his thoughts on The Real Housewives of New York City, Hailey, 39, threw shade at Erin Lichy, 39, confirmed an intimate moment with Chanel Ayan, 48, and admitted to smoking pot with Andy Cohen, 58.
“There was no clearing the air. [Kate] knew like, all of [the affair claims weren’t] true. But she was on contract with TLC, so she wasn’t allowed to come out and say anything. So she had to be quiet and not say anything,” Hailey explained on WWHL.
As for why her mom, Lauren Glassman, encouraged her relationship with Jon, Hailey revealed that they knew each other through her plastic surgeon father, Dr. Lawrence Glassman.
“My dad did Kate Gosselin’s tummy tuck in 2007, so then they became family friends, and then during their divorce and separation, he moved into my parents’ house, and then I came home from Indiana, and a friendship bloomed into more,” she shared, noting that she “was 22” at the time.
Moving on to Rubin, Hailey hinted that her mother wasn’t a huge fan.
“She, you know, now it’s … My mom is someone — she means well, but she likes to control someone, and Rubin, nobody can control Rubin. Rubin does what Rubin wants,” Hailey stated.
While Rubin did not film RHONY, Hailey said that he is not someone she was hiding.
“Obviously he wants nothing to do with TV, but he supports me, and there’s no mystery here. He’s like, ‘If someone wants to talk to me, talk to me. I just don’t want to be on TV,’” she explained.
Regarding the magazine covers Hailey had shared of her past with Jon, which Erin suggested proved that she wasn’t as traumatized by publication of the romance, Hailey reasoned that she’d only shown them in one TikTok post because she was casting for the show at the time.
“I was going through casting so I was showing a story in one TikTok so the rest was lies that was said by a cast member,” she added of Erin.
Also speaking of Erin, who she said gave her the worst first impression when she joined the series, Hailey targeted her co-star’s parenting after being asked what three things weren’t boring about her.
“She showed her boobs one time. That was great. She goes out every night of the week and has four kids and goes out every night. She gets stuff done,” Hailey stated.
Hailey then confirmed that she once kissed Chanel and licked her nipple — in an effort to prove that she wouldn’t, once again, sustain a broken nose by a boob (which she confirmed on an early episode of season 16).
“She has great lips, and yeah, I licked her nipple, but it didn’t break my nose. She lifted up her shirt and was like, ‘Do you think they could break your nose?’ And I was like, ’They’re too small, I think,’ and then we tried it, but yeah, I licked her nipple,” she said.
Also on the live broadcast, after confirming her father had not done any work on her, Hailey reflected on a past smoke session with Andy.
“We met three, four years ago at Cubbyhole,” she recalled. “I was fighting with this girl I was sleeping with at the time, and [Andy] came outside. I was smoking a joint. [He] came over and I shared the joint with [him], and [he] diffused the fight, and the next thing I knew, we had a great sleepover.”
Hailey was also featured on the WWHL: After Show, where she named Daisy Toye as the cast member who was the most high-maintenance traveler and “complained the most.”
