Molly O’Connell clapped back at Patricia Altschul after her Southern Charm co-star shaded her decision to have plastic surgery in an interview last week.
After Patricia, 85, suggested that Molly, 38, and Salley Carson, 31, “read a book” after they opened up about the plastic surgeries they’d undergone on the show, Molly, who admitted to having fat sucked out of her ankles and calves and transferred to her breasts, flipped her off.
“Two of the girls talked about all of the plastic surgery they’d had. And these are 20-year-old women. And things I’ve never heard of, like, taking fat out of your ankles and putting it in your boobs. That’s a new one for me. I mean, you can read a book. You don’t need to go to those extremes,” Patricia stated during an October 14 interview on You’re the Shift With Ryan Albert.
“I really didn’t even want to think about it,” she added.
After a clip of the interview was shared by Queens of Bravo on Instagram, Molly reacted by commenting a middle finger emoji.

Other commenters were equally irked by Patricia’s statements.
“Miss Pat is a prime example of a woman who upholds the patriarchy. Also who is she to talk about plastic surgery- I mean come on!” one person wrote.
“The lack of self awareness with her is diabolical,” another agreed.
Someone else recalled Whitney Sudler-Smith, 58, telling Molly she didn’t need a cupcake on a past episode of Southern Charm.
“Maybe if misogynistic men, like her man child of a son, didn’t make comments about women’s bodies (aka him telling Molly she didn’t need to eat a cupcake) said women wouldn’t feel obligated to get plastic surgery,” they stated.
Southern Hospitality‘s Mia Alario, 28, and Bradley Carter, 29, also spoke out.
“Molly is BY FAR one of the smartest people I know. This is a horrible take,” Mia declared.
“Love you,” added Bradley.
On Southern Charm, amid a confessional, Molly spoke of her decision to go under the knife.
“My ankles were a little thicker than your average person. I was always a bit bothered by it, so finally I got ankle and calf liposuction. And then I shoved the fat into my boobs. Because I had no boobies,” she explained.
