The new season of The Real Housewives of New York City has been getting a ton of buzz.

While the last two seasons garnered complaints of being lackluster from fans, the new season brought back RHONY alum Carole Radziwill and introduced some other new cast members. The show has finally seemed to figure out the right balance of engaging drama.

Yesterday, the midseason trailer was released, and interestingly, it featured a cameo from Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard.

After the trailer came out, Bravo and Cocktails featured an “unverified reader submission” about Lindsay, 40.

“Did you notice Lindsay Hubbard in the midseason trailer?” it read. “Bravo is soft-launching her for an eventual transition to RHONY. Whether In The City Season 2 flops or she may simply outgrow In The City in terms of status and wealth, Bravo wants to keep her in the family.”

“They expect her to fully transition for Season 18 or 19, which isn’t that far as it seems – as Season 17 will begin filming in the next 6 months,” they continued. “Regarding RHONY, expect Season 17 cast to remain the same – with Devyn Symone being a friend-of from the beginning of the season.”

Aside from Lindsay, the trailer also introduced a new friend-of the Housewives, Devyn, 38, who appeared on The Real World: Brooklyn and competed on The Challenge. In the footage, she was seen having drama with Sai De Silva.

Speaking of Sai, 45, the trailer also showed her kissing Carole, 63, on the lips after the group was chanting for them to do so.

As fans know, one of the most dramatic moments on the show to date was when Carole and Sai got into it over Carole being named in the Epstein files.

Erin Lichy was also spotted being told by her husband Abe that if they didn’t “front $150,000 of their own money,” then their business would be “dead.”

Jessel Taank was then seen telling her husband, Pavit Randhawa, that she feels like he walks around their house as if he resents her. Jessel was also seen seemingly saying to Daisy Toye that she heard she was “unfaithful” in her marriage, which caused an explosive fight.

One thing is for certain based on this trailer: fans are due for an exciting, dramatic season.
