On The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Lisa Barlow has taken a lot of heat for a song called “Hypocrisy and Bulls*it” that she performed with Meredith Marks.
Lisa, 51, appeared at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, last weekend.
While there, she opened up about the “awful” situation of having some of her castmates come to The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th and confront her, as well as the “hypocrisy and bulls*it” that exists on RHOSLC.
“I wish I went on Ultimate Girls Trip and there were no visitors,” she stated on a panel at Bravo Fan Fest. “But it happened… It was awful in the moment because I just wanted to have a good time. And when other people go on Ultimate Girls Trip, they get to leave, go on a trip, bond with the girls they’re with, have fun in that city, and then go home and have their own experience.”
While she noted there were “good experiences along the way,” she said her castmates showing up was “rough” and “way worse” than what people saw.
“And I was just like lining my lips and like, ‘Let me vibe.’ I just want to have a good time. I’m like, ‘Just let me vibe,'” she continued, noting that Heather Gay was like “her shadow.”
“Like, I’d move in one place of the room and go to another, and they were there,” she added. “So, that was rough. But I also had it in, like, multiple cities. So, starting season seven, you know, with the loss of Mary‘s son, I was like, you know what? We all need to be there for Mary. I need to just move forward. I have so many other things going on in my life with my own family, my work, everything else. I’m like, I’m going to focus on my friends that matter and show up for them, and then just move forward. Because if you notice, things in Salt Lake are circular; they keep happening over and over and over again, which is how we got to hypocrisy and bulls*it.”
Lisa also spoke to PEOPLE at Bravo Fan Fest, stating, “There’s a reason why I was like the whole time we were in San Francisco, while we were at the Vulva Museum, while we were at Dumpling Dinner, I was singing hypocrisy and bulls*it. Because there’s so much that hasn’t been talked about for six years.”

She added it was “uncomfortable” to watch this continue to go on.
“I’m like, ‘No, we need to start addressing things,'” she elaborated. “So I think I am beyond enabled and comfortable feeling like I need to be super direct with everyone. No more sweeping it under the rug. Things need to be talked about.”
New episodes of RHOSLC air every Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
