Ever since Summer House stars West Wilson and Amanda Batula revealed their relationship, they have been subject to a ton of scrutiny and criticism.
While Amanda, 35, appeared on the first season of In the City, which was primarily filmed before the two were dating, lots of rumors have recently popped up about her status for season two.
While some suggested she may be out, others said she may return and film with West, 31.
According to a new Page Six report, Amanda has officially exited the show amid season two filming and her ongoing relationship with West.
A source divulged to the outlet that Bravo allegedly wanted Amanda to return in a more limited-capacity role for season two. Supposedly, Amanda was insistent that West be included in filming, but network executives were not having it, and this influenced her decision to depart the show.
Another insider Page Six spoke with denied that, chalking things up to the timing not being good for Amanda or West to appear on television.
Still, another source claimed that it all came down to finances, with Amanda allegedly wanting a huge payday Bravo wasn’t willing to fork over.
Page Six noted that Amanda’s former In the City co-stars are currently filming season two and that two new couples and one single person are expected to join.
The initial insider they spoke to also claimed Danielle Olivera and her boyfriend Eoin Heavey were not asked to return to the show. Additionally, they stated Andrea Denver and his wife, Lexi Sundin, were also let go.
As Reality Blurb exclusively reported, Summer House star Carl Radke has filmed for the upcoming season of In the City.
“Carl taped for In the City recently,” a source previously shared. “He is hoping to be on the show more and will film as much as they’ll have him.”
“He’d ideally like to be full time,” they added.
