Brittany Cartwright is embarking on an “empowering new chapter” as she focuses on “healing” amid her ongoing split from Jax Taylor.
As she awaits the finalization of their divorce, the 36-year-old cast member of The Valley has gone under the knife for a mommy makeover, which she hopes will boost her self-confidence.
“This was something Brittany had wanted to do for herself for quite some time, and she finally took the step. Her ‘mommy makeover’ with Dr. Payman Danielpour and Dr. John Layke of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group represents an empowering new chapter in her journey of self-confidence, healing and growth,” her rep, Lori Krebs, told Us Weekly on October 6.
“Staying true to her open and honest self, she’ll be sharing more about the experience and her recovery on this Friday’s episode of ‘When Reality Hits With Brittany Cartwright,’” she added.
As for exactly what she had done, an insider shared, “[Brittany] got a mommy makeover, which included a tummy tuck and new implants. She removed the implants she had and got new ones.”
Brittany first confirmed her plastic surgery with a post on Instagram on Sunday.
“When they said ‘remove what no longer serves you,’ I took it literally … In all seriousness, y’all know I always keep it real — and sooo…I did a thing … Something I’ve wanted to do for years and I finally took the step for me. I couldn’t be happier,” she wrote in the caption of a photo that featured her in a compression bandage with surgical drains.
“Still recovering, but feeling stronger (and lighter) every day. Can’t wait to share more with you soon!” she teased.
As Vanderpump Rules fans may recall, Brittany’s estranged husband, Jax, 46, financed her first boob job in 2015 amid the series’ fourth season.
News of Brittany’s mommy makeover comes just months after she admitted she was considering going under the knife for a second time on a March episode of When Reality Hits.
“I get comments and stuff about my breasts all the time and it’s so annoying because I had my boobs done, gosh, it’s probably about 10 years ago,” she recalled at the time. “It’ll be time to get them redone again soon anyway. But after I had my son … my weight, like, fluctuates so bad. So my boobs get really big or they’ll shrink, they’re one of the first places that I gain weight in. And a lot of people will accuse me of having my breasts done again. And I’m like, no. This is still the same one. They just got a lot bigger after I had my son. And, I don’t love them all the time. It’s hard to get dressed. It’s hard to find clothes that work for me and everything.”
Brittany went on to note that she “didn’t really want to get another surgery done” until she was confident that she wouldn’t be having any more kids, since that would mean she’d “have to do it all over again.”
The Valley season three is currently in production and expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2026.
