Katie Ginella posted a group photo of herself and her castmates at the Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 reunion on her Instagram page on November 21. She was quickly met with questions about her potential return for season 20.
As she shaded Gretchen Rossi, 47, with both the crop of the photo and in a series of comments, Katie, 41, who joined the Bravo series in 2024 for season 18, sparked rumors of a potential exit from the series as she spoke of leaving the past behind.
“Season 19 tried, but I’m still standing. Here’s to moving forward and leaving the past in the past,” Katie captioned the November 21 post.
Due to the cryptic nature of her caption, Katie’s post was met with inquiries.
“Are you coming back?” one person asked.
“We will all find out soon,” Katie teased.
Another person noticed that she’d cropped Gretchen out of the group image.
“I love that you cropped this,” they wrote.
“Allies only,” Katie explained.
“Does that mean you’re done with the show?” someone else wondered.
“No,” Katie confirmed.
Then, another person asked, “No Gretchen?” Katie replied, “Who?”
As RHOC fans will recall, Katie and Gretchen suffered a falling out amid season 19 after Katie claimed Gretchen had alleged that she’d been roofied amid her “naked wasted” drama with Tamra Judge, 58, during season four.
While Katie suggested that Gretchen had relayed the information to her and claimed to have been hospitalized, Gretchen denied any such thing, and Katie ultimately failed a lie detector test that questioned her about what she’d been told.
Since then, questions have been raised about the legitimacy of the lie detector test.
No word yet on when filming on the upcoming 20th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County will begin.
