Ciara Miller came to the defense of Venita Aspen in a TikTok comment after a user suspected that Craig Conover had attempted to get her kicked off Southern Charm due to her support of his ex-girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo.
Following the sharing of the influencer’s clip, which gave a nod to comments Craig, 36, made about Venita, 32, on Watch What Happens Live amid casting on season 11, the 29-year-old Summer House star targeted not only Craig, but the entire Southern Charm cast, as The Valley‘s Jasmine Goode, 38, also weighed in.
“I try to give grace to the women on this network since most of the audience doesn’t. I’m also always going to give grace to a Black woman who’s trying to succeed on a show that has the gender and racial dynamics of a 1950s sitcom,” Josh the RHONY Stan declared on TikTok on December 1.
Josh went on to say that while Craig was allowed to feel some sort of way that Venita took Paige’s side in their split, he never seemed interested in being her friend to begin with.
He then signaled Craig’s WWHL appearance, noting that Venita likely believed that his comment about not being associated with her any longer was made in an effort to ice her out or push her off the show.

After Josh’s clip was posted, as revealed by Brands by Bravo on Instagram, Ciara weighed in, accusing the Southern Charm cast of not allowing Venita to have a voice on the series.
“Imagine being the only black girl on a predominantly white cast in the SOUTH. No one ever sees Venita’s side. And her cast only expects her to be submissive to their opinions and limelight. If a main cast ‘refuses’ to film with another main cast member; that’s code for trying to push them out. So yes, your entire analysis of situation is correct,” she confirmed.
Also in the comments section of Josh’s post was a message from Jasmine, who also agreed.
“This!!” she wrote, along with two clapping emojis.
