Britani Bateman offered an update on her on-again, off-again romance with Jared Osmond on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As she also spoke of her daughters, named Luann de Lesseps, 60, as the rudest Bravolebrity at BravoCon, and called out the gaslighting habits of Meredith Marks, 53, and Lisa Barlow, 50, the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star discussed Seth Marks, reflected on her shade against Mary Cosby, 53, and admitted that Jared, 55, was the “love of [her] life.”
“We are together,” Britani confirmed on the December 2 episode of WWHL. “He’s the love of my life. We can’t live without each other.”
Although some have felt that Jared doesn’t deserve her, Britani said that viewers don’t see their full dynamic on RHOSLC.
“Everyone has [seen] the really surface-level of the underbelly of our relationship,” she explained. “No one really sees the good stuff. He’s extremely kind. He’s very generous. He’s extremely gorgeous and handsome. He’s very loyal. He’s honest. He’s integrous, and he treats me wonderfully.”
As for her daughters, Britani said she wasn’t worried that dating him would impact her relationship with her kids.
“It’s a balancing act. They might be concerned, but they’re adults, and I feel like the transition has to be made where I can have my own life and I’m just as good of a mom to them, as long as they feel that way, and that’s what we’re constantly working on,” she revealed.
Then, when asked who was the rudest celebrity at BravoCon, Britani said it was the Real Housewives of New York City alum.
“I would say Luann. Yeah. I really love you, Luann. I’m sorry. Don’t be mad at me for saying that … she came up to me and asked [about my Broadway pedigree], and then I asked her, ‘Hey, well, I would love for you to make a cameo,’ and she turned me down,” Britani shared. “She’s like, ‘Oh, I don’t do other people’s shows.’”
Looking back on the latest drama of RHOSLC, Britani recalled her fight with Meredith and Lisa on the plane, which they’ve both suggested didn’t happen.
“I think they’re used to gaslighting, and it usually works for them, but luckily, there’s a lot of people that would disagree, and thankfully, there were witnesses. Otherwise, we would all be gaslit appropriately,” she declared.
She then said that when it came to which cast member surprised her most by having her back, that honor went to Mary.
“I feel like that held the most weight because she’s very integrous. She does not lie. Whether you like what she has to say or not … she’s impeccable with her word,” Britani noted.
Continuing on about Meredith, Britani shaded her DJing career, asking, “Does Meredith DJ?” She then said that she and Lisa would have the most to answer to at the upcoming reunion, and she admitted her apology was a bit off.
“I was shocked that I got anything, but it wasn’t my favorite. It wasn’t how I would apologize,” she explained.
Also on the live broadcast, after joking about Whitney Rose‘s drunken appearance at BravoCon, saying that while she “had a little too much,” she had the “best time ever,” Britani hinted that she may have more proof of Seth’s alleged affair than a TikTok video.
“Maybe,” she teased.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Britani admitted to feeling bad about telling Mary she was the least Christ-like.
“I was devastated when those words came out of my mouth,” she said. “She said some pretty mean things to me leading up to that, and I did feel that in the moment. But I wish that I hadn’t said that because just saying that is not Christ-like either, so it’s kind of like two negatives don’t equal a positive.”
“The second it came out of my mouth, I regretted it. And it devastated me that she didn’t feel like she could invite me to that really personal experience I would’ve really enjoyed,” she added.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
