Britani Bateman is offering an update on her relationship with Meredith Marks.
As she also reflected on what allegedly went down between the two of them on their flight from Barbados to Utah, recalled trying not to “break,” and teased her future engagement to on-again, off-again boyfriend Jared Osmond, 55, the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star defended her and Jared’s romance and recalled a run-in she had with Meredith, 54, at BravoCon.
“My relationship with Meredith is nothing,” she confirmed to StyleCaster. “We saw each other at BravoCon, and she actually said hi to me … We just sort of avoided each other, and then at the very end of BravoCon, we were in the dressing room for the holiday special. They kept us separated pretty well. They put us in two different dressing rooms, and she actually came into my dressing room and walked behind me and said, ‘hi,’ and I said, ‘hi.’ [And] that was it.”

Looking back at their encounter on the plane, Britani said that as she and her castmates were in full descent from the international flight with just 30 to 40 minutes before they landed, a screaming match broke out.
“Everyone was screaming at each other. [Whitney Rose], [Heather Gay], [Lisa Barlow], Meredith, … and I literally was just zoned in, just, ‘Please, please, try not to break,’ fetal position, probably sucking my thumb … ‘Don’t pay attention. Don’t pay attention,’” she shared. “It’s pretty much exactly what was all said went down.”
According to Britani, she was drenched in wine amid the spat.
“There was wine … My side was drenched in wine through the seats,” she alleged. “I had my earphones on, like headphones, not just like AirPods. I had my headphones, and I had my back away from the back of the seat so that I couldn’t feel anymore more because I was just tired of feeling it and just trying to zone in on Crazy Rich Asians. And I got to the end, literally just tried to zone in and not give any reaction whatsoever, just act like it wasn’t happening.”
“I just didn’t want to give them the satisfaction of seeing me break. I held out until the very end, and then I started to break. I started to crumble,” Britani added.

Britani then showed off her engagement ring from Jared.
“This is my engagement ring from Jared. He gave it back to me, and he’s gonna put it on at some point. But I’m keeping it with me, just so that he can’t take it back. Yep, that’s right. And I’m not putting it on my own finger because he has to do it himself,” she declared.
While the romance between Britani and Jared has seemed chaotic and unstable at times, Britani insisted that their relationship isn’t exactly as it seemed.
”The show paints a picture that is just like a really surface-level slice of our worst moments, which is fair, I mean, if you have them, then they’re going to be showcased for millions to see, and I want to be a better defender of our relationship, like everyone else is so defensive of their relationships. I’ve sort of let him be the fodder of all the jokes and let our relationship be the fodder of all the jokes, and I’m gonna stop doing that because he’s really quite, incredibly wonderful to me, and we are really good together,” she revealed.
After a breakup amid season six, when Jared suggested she was unstable, Jared vowed to show Britani his dedication through his actions and promised not to talk about her like that again.
“He’s been showing me so TBD as to whether or not I’ll say yes and when,” she stated.
