Summer House star Ciara Miller has unfollowed Amanda Batula and West Wilson after the pair confirmed their rumored romance.
As can be seen in the screenshot below, she no longer follows either of them. West and Amanda are also no longer following Ciara, which could potentially mean Ciara blocked both of them.
The news of Amanda and West’s romance comes only mere months after she and Kyle Cooke confirmed they were parting ways after four years of marriage.
In a joint statement that Amanda and West shared, they claimed their romance was “very new” and arose from a place of friendship. They added that their intention was not to hurt anyone.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” they shared on Instagram.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing that either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” they continued.
They explained that as their feelings continued to evolve, they wanted to “take time” to comprehend what they were feeling.
The couple added, “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
Page Six has also shared a photo of Ciara taken just hours ago. The photo shows Ciara outside sitting on a New York sidewalk as she appears to be getting consoled by an unknown man. The picture was reportedly taken a minute before Amanda and West put out their joint statement today, leading some fans to wonder if Ciara perhaps got a heads up.
On March 24, West appeared on Watch What Happens Live, and he insisted the pair were just friends.
“She’s single now, and it’s happened already to other people that she’s hung out with,” he shared at the time. “We were just hanging out in New York. She’s single. I gotta show her the streets a little bit. But if it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I care about her a lot. That’s a friend.”
Aside from Ciara unfollowing them, Paige DeSorbo seemingly put her two cents in on the new relationship, commenting on a video of Hannah Berner promoting flushable wipes.
“I guess we know where Hannah stands,” Paige wrote.
“Being shocked on the internet is the theme of today,” she also noted.
