Bethenny Frankel has long sworn off a Real Housewives of New York City return, but is she filming for E!’s upcoming spinoff, The Golden Life?
Following a recent outing in Paris, France, with her former Bravo castmates, Ramona Singer, 69, and Sonja Morgan, 62, who are set to star on the new show with Luann de Lesseps, 60, Kelly Bensimon, 57, and Dorinda Medley, 61, who joined the cast after Jill Zarin, 62, was fired due to her racist rant about Bad Bunny‘s performance at the Super Bowl Halftime show, the 55-year-old Skinnygirl mogul was met with rumors.
“Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, & Sonja Morgan spotted roaming the streets of Paris, France together,” read a caption to a couple of images of the women looking all glammed up that was shared by Bravo Housewives on Threads on April 2.
“Why is Bethenny there? Did she join the show?” one person asked in response.

After The Golden Life was announced back in February, Sonja was featured on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, where she shared Bethenny’s reaction to the news.
“[Bethenny] texted me immediately, like a newsflash, before even Page Six [reported it],” she shared. “She heard about it before. And she goes, ‘I am so happy for you.’ And I said, ‘I knew you would be.’”
Sonja then spoke of Bethenny’s potential addition to the show, saying, “That would be a gift. If she wants to do the show, I’ll be very happy. But she’s made it very clear the last few years that she really doesn’t want to do TV. She has been making a fortune.”
Meanwhile, before her firing, Jill explained why she didn’t ask Bethenny to be on the series.
“Bethenny and I, when we went on the show years ago, we were friends, and we had a really good time together. But that friendship, you know, publicly dissolved. And years later, when she and I spoke about it, she told me the truth, which was that she wanted to be Beyoncé, and I wanted to be Lucy and Ethel. You can’t be Beyoncé and be on an ensemble cast. It doesn’t work. And that’s why I didn’t ask her to be on the show, because I knew that wasn’t what she wanted to do,” she stated in a video shared by The Real Housewives Zone on Instagram.
Although Bethenny, Ramona, and Sonja have remained tight-lipped in regard to the nature of their latest reunion, TMZ told readers on April 2 that Bethenny is not filming The Golden Life. Instead, she and her fellow RHONY alums are working on a different project that is expected to be announced next week.
No word yet on a premiere date for E!’s The Golden Life.
